Had to get my A/C and Furnace replaced. The customer service was above and beyond, the knowledge level that each staff person I spoke to was great as well. I didn't have to wait for an appointment, they worked with my schedule, and were on time every time. Could not have asked for a better interaction. I am very, very impressed with the level of work that we received. I would highly recommend this company and will use them in the future for our home now and future homes!

My furnace was blowing cold air. I called Carbon Valley Heating & Air to get the issue resolved. The guy came in and poked around the crawlspace for a while. He came back up and said my issue was that the air return was too small and I needed to cut holes in my floor for an additional return and get a new furnace. I told him I'd like a second opinion. He did not resolve my issue. He then proceeded to charge me $85 dollars for the two hours he spent here "diagnosing" the issue, explaining to me he probably should charge more since he was here longer than the $85 covered or allowed for. I guess he was trying to make me feel like I was getting a good deal or something. When I called another company to come diagnose the issue, they pinpointed the problem immediately as a circuit board problem. The board had poor connections somewhere. They replaced the board and I had heat again.

I would NOT recommend Carbon Valley Heating & Air - what was really a simple fix they could not correctly diagnose. To make matters worse, had I went with their diagnosis and recommendation it would have cost me a lot more money than just replacing the circuit board.

Service was excellent. Invoicing needs to break down actual price of replacement part. I should not see a price difference of $300 between what the part can be purchased for online and what it was sold to me for. If the price sold to me includes the cost of replacing the part, then the labor should be itemized separately. If the price of replacement was $300 + the initial diagnostic price of $85, then I paid nearly $400 to have the control board replaced. I'll shop for a more transparent company in the future.

Dale with carbon valley came out
this morning to look at the present furnace and air conditioner units so we could decide what our options are and which systems would be best with our budget. Dale was help full in getting what we needed to replace the old units. Carbon Valley was great to work with, friendly , professional in every way

The team at Carbon Valley Heating and Air definitely know their stuff. We had a great experience with our installation and Josh even helped ensure that our equipment was registered for our warranty.
We had a small leak that the guys had to come back out for (no fault of the team) that they fixed and now we have no problems.

Our furnace/AC stopped working late at night on 7/3. After having contacted roughly half a dozen companies on 7/4, they were one of only two that got back to me. They were able to help diagnose the issue over the phone and told me the blower on the furnace had died.
They didn't have a replacement on hand and wouldn't be able to get one that day due to the holiday. They did say they could stop by the morning on 7/5 with a motor to replace it. The other company that got back to me couldn't make it out for a week.

They showed up within the time window they gave me and noticed some other issues with my furnace and recommend I replace the 17 year old unit. Another HVAC company had recommended I replace the unit a couple of years ago so I decided to bite the bullet and replace it.

They weren't able to replace the unit that day, but given that I have an infant in the house they were able to make arrangements to get the new furnace installed on 7/6. Once again, they showed up when they said they would and quickly installed the new unit.

I''m very happy with their work. They called me back (even on a holiday), everyone I dealt with was helpful, they were able to get the new unit in quickly for me, and at a fair price.

Excellent first experience with these guys. Cody came out to give me a quote on a new furnace, and in the process of an inspection of our system, determined that we actually DIDN'T need a new furnace (despite what another company told me), showed me what was wrong, and gave me a quote on that fix. Saved us several thousand dollars. So we signed them up for a service contract, and will continue to use them from here on out.

Cody was professional, courteous, and exceedingly nice. Would recommend these guys all day long.

I cannot say enough good things about the technician who assisted me Dale. My furnace was blowing cold air, I immediately thought I had to replace it so I called this company and Dale assisted me. Dale was so informative and it was something simple my air filters, he assisted me in replacing them, as well as educating me on when to replace them. Dale was professional and curtious, and I'am so thankful for his assistance, my furnace is back on and running. Thank you Dale!!

They were out here in less than 24 hours after I called (not an emergency call), and not only helped with what I called about but identified that my hot water heater was also greatly in need of replacement. As a recently single parent, it's hard to know who to trust, but they were great. They didn't charge anything for the 2 or more hours they were here on the first day, which included replacing a part to get my heat going again for the time being, and then came back the next day to replace everything. Very professional, kind, and would highly recommend them.
