We have used this company for years for HVAC at both our primary residence and a rental property. They do good work at a fair price, and are responsive when the HVAC fails in bad weather (hot or cold!). Really appreciate their service.
1) There were failures in communication: On a very hot week in Sept the blower motor in my AC failed. I called on Wednesday and they scheduled for Friday. On Friday they do not show and I have to call them to find out they can't make it. They say they'll call me back to reschedule. Their office does not call me again until Tuesday (they say the technician tried to contact me several times but I received no call). Work was done on Tuesday. The 6 day wait to get the repair was hot and unpleasant. (-1.5 star) 2) The markup on materials surprised me: When I searched the motor can be found for $200 to $300. I was charged $615 for Materials. They say they only use local distributors who can quickly resolve warranty issues and who charge more. They also say they include a % markup on materials and everyone else has a higher markup. This is valid.
I hate complaining in reviews and I feel bad about doing it here. A lot is on me because I should have asked for an estimate. If I knew it'd be nearly $1000 for what I could have easily done... I called a professional for speed and having it done right the first time. I didn't get the speed but it was done right.
I manage a liquor store and our compressor that cools our beer cooler went down. Dan came out on August 30th, found the problem and ordered us a new compressor. The compressor company said that it would arrive on September 6th, which meant we would have warm beer for the Labor Day weekend. Dan called me on Sept. 1st said it had arrived early and he would be out with his crew at 3am the next morning! He stated he didn't want me missing the beer sales. They had me up and running by 10:00am, and cold beer by 12:00 going into Labor Day weekend. They left here and still had a FULL day of scheduled repairs ahead of them. Best customer service we have ever had!!!!!
I have found this company to be an outstanding source for all my AC & Heating needs. I've had the pleasure of dealing with Don the owner and he has gone out of his way to be sure all my AC needs were met. The man has an outstanding work ethic and will battle through till the problem is solved. He explains what is being done and what the cost associated with the repairs. Finding someone with integrity and you can trust is very difficult, but I will continue to use this company going forward with no hesitation.
Travis with ATC did a Great Job tuning up my furnace and ac. Travis was very friendly, professional, thorough and knowledgeable. Travis cleaned and went through my entire system. He also explained what he was doing and what tests he was doing to determine if parts are good or are failing.
It's nice to know there are still family owned businesses out there that offer services that are fairly priced, honest and dependable.
Next time I need HVAC service I know I can depend on ATC to take care of me, without being ripped off.
The team at ATC has serviced my HVAC needs for nearly five years at two different houses. Shortly after moving into my first house in December 2009, my furnace died during one of those ultra-cold snaps. David spent a lot of time on the phone with me on a cold January night diagnosing the issue, and when we determined it was in fact time for a new furnace, ATC installed it the next day at a fair price when many other contractors may have taken advantage of the situation. The furnace ran without issue during our time at that house.
At our new house, ATC installed an AC unit and worked with me to ensure I was happy with the product. During that install, they noticed that our builder didn't use a proper fitting on the gas line to the furnace resulting in a small gas leak, and they repaired the leak while they were at the house. It was a simple fix, but that's a level of customer service that you won't find most places.
They returned recently to service the furnace in preparation for winter and found that my gas pressure was nearly double the manufacturer's recommendation. I'm pleased that they came out and got the system ("new" from the builder) dialed in to run properly.
David takes the time to listen to your needs, and comes up with solutions to address them. Travis, one of the service techs, is on time, polite, and knowledgeable. They get the job done with integrity and make sure you're happy with their services. I strongly recommend ATC to anyone with HVAC needs.
Throw away all your numbers of all HVAC Company. All Temperatures Controlled is all you need. Travis came to fix my one door cooler for my business and he was friendly, knowledgeable and honest with his work. I HIGHLY-HIGHLY recommend this company. I am glad that I found this company through Tom Martino Referralist. Excellent technichian...very thorough. He even stayed to make sure the temperature dropped to where it needed to be. Travis good luck with your new venture. I know this company with Travis will overly succeed.
All Temperatures Controlled is a great company with awesome technicians. They recently performed a service on our air conditioner. They were on time, professional and courteous. Our A/C unit is working great! We would and will definitely call them again!
Our experience may have been poorer because our previous home warranty company dispatched them to look at our AC. However, that is not a reason for lack of communication. I kept having to call All Temperatures Controlled to follow-up on the work order to see what was going on. After almost a month later, we find out our warranty would not cover their work or replacement of the AC unit because the technician said there had been modifications. Thus, ended our use with All Temperatures, as well as ended our home warranty.
Edited to Reply to the response: I understand some things are out of your control, as you're just sent out to determine the problem and make possible repairs. However, it would have been nice to know that All Temperatures Controlled had been unable to get in touch with my warranty company (especially after FOUR attempts), so that I could have figured out something within a timely manner. When I would call you guys it made me feel I was a bother, as when I said my name, an audible irritated sigh was heard from your receptionist. Therefore, lack of communication also falls on All Temperatures Controlled.
I spoke with their scheduler on the phone and she was very friendly and helpful. We set up an appointment between 9 - 11 the next day and I took off of work to make sure I could be home. At about 8:30 AM the day of the appointment I was notified that I was not in their service area (something you think they would have checked when I made the appointment). I realize it's not their fault that I live outside their service area, but it is their fault that they agreed to come out without checking my address.
