Carlos and his coworker quickly diagnosed the problem with my evaporative cooler which was not blowing cold air into the house. They fixed the issue and from start to finish we're here for 30 minutes. I love people that know their business, have a professional and positive attitude and get the job done in a timely manner at a reasonable price. This team had all of these attributes. Golden West is a great, honest and well respected company and I would definitely use them for future projects.

Anthony Garcia with Golden West did a very professional and thourough evaluation and inspection of my A/C unit. He was very clear when providing explanation of my problem, provided recommendations without pressure and showed empathy to my very stressful situation. His years of experience showed when dealing with my problem at hand.

Wow! Carlos truly exceeded expectations. He arrived promptly, was friendly and efficient in his assessment of my issue. He meticulously went through every possible scenario before zeroing in on the root cause. And what do you know, it turned out to be a problem with my gas meter, not my furnace - as another service provider had suggested, who wanted to charge me a whopping $2,000 to replace the gas valve and switchboard. But thanks to Carlos' professionalism and unparalleled expertise, I was saved from that unnecessary expense and now have my heat back in action! I will definitely be adding Golden West to my go-to list for all my home repair needs and requesting Carlos specifically. Thank you for an outstanding and seamless experience!

Anthony and a Riley provided efficient and quality service today. They arrived right on time for the estimate appointment. I had a broken circuit and they provided a few different fix options with pricing. Their prices were reasonable. They were friendly and professional!

Be careful with this place and definitely get a second opinion! Our heat went out and their immediate suggestion was to get a new furnace because ours was 14 years old and “at the end of its life” (come to find out furnaces live 20-22 years if they’re well taken care of). Anthony quoted us 8k and up to 14k for a new high efficiency furnace. He seemed like a really nice person so it is possible he just didn’t know the actual issue and replacing seemed easier.

We got a second opinion and they fixed it with a $500 part- all it needed was a new control panel and it was good as new. It’s been running seamlessly for a month now. The other contractors also said our furnace was in great shape and has another 6-8 years left.

The pressure switch was going off intermittently which GW attributed to “condensate build up”. The second contractor found no build up at all and found the pressure switch was turning off because of the control panel issue. I wish I had asked for pictures or him to show me this “build up” but it didn’t get that far.

Always be wary when any contractor immediately jumps to replacing your entire system! I think they kind of hinged on the fact that we were desperate because our heat was out.

Carlos did a fantastic job! They were super responsive when our heat went out. He provided a detailed explanation of the issue along with different solutions along with pricing. I would definitely recommend them and will be using them again.

Carlos was so professional and responsive and explained the leak in my condo thoroughly and referred me to a company that would test to see if there’s mold. He was so thorough! He also has Jose shadow him for the day that was helpful too!

Josh did a great job on my pipe leak and explained the things we need to address in our new home. Looking forward to using them moving forward!

Anthony and Josh were awesome handling my plumbing emergency. They did a great job assessing my in-home gas line leak, identifying repair options and jumping on the repair project, working straight into the night. I'm very pleased!
