We had a great experience with our technician Brian C from Dr. Fix It. He diagnosed an issue with our bathroom outlet and helped to bring the outlet up to code and safe! He was very knowledgeable and even inspected a few other outlets in the house to ensure safety. I would definitely recommend them to a friend or neighbor.

WARNING: This company is a complete scam. We have been working with them for a few years, bought their membership service, and thought they were trustworthy- every time they came out for a “routine inspection,” we ended up needing to replace something, and they sold us thousands of dollars worth of items. Someone came out for their yearly inspection a couple of weeks ago and informed us that our heater had a lot of damage and we needed to replace it. After the project manager came out to seal the deal, I wanted a second opinion to ensure it was actually damaged. Another company came out the next day to inspect the heater, and he said nothing was wrong with it and he didn’t recommend either repairing OR replacing the heater. After trying to get a hold of the manager for days and false promises of them calling me back, we cancelled our membership and will never use them again. You’ve been warned.

I called to schedule a service call on a Friday and was scheduled for the following Monday in the morning. The communication was terrific, and I received a text when the technician, as well as a picture, was on the way. I have to say that feature is really nice, so you have an idea of who is coming and that they are indeed the company employee. Upon arrival Ryan assessed the damage and said he'd need to get a splice kit. I had another contractor accidentally cut an electrical line. I then inquired about what other electrical repairs Doctor Fix-It does. Ryan said, 'pretty much everything!'. I then walked him around my carport, garage and side of the home where I had many fixes to be done. He then gave me a quote and it was extremely fair and reasonable. The next thing I knew he was sending Brian that same day to get a head start on a new electrical panel in the garage. He did a lot that day and they both returned on a Wednesday morning to finish up. It took the better part of the day. I received updated wiring, security lights, a new GFI electrical outlet mounted in the carport, new on/off switches as well as a new photo cell for an existing security light. All of this with breakers, labeling and everything else that is part of a new sub panel. These guys were top notch. Professional, courteous, mindful of my property, tidy and are highly experienced electricians. I was 100% plus pleased with the service. Not one glitch, not one problem, and they left my property a bit cleaner than when they arrived. I purchased the annual service plan for my furnace, hot water heater and it includes an electrical wiring check as well. I would highly recommend this company and am looking forward to doing business with them.

My technician, Ryan W, was on time, communicated any details I asked about, and was able to diagnose and repair two issues on the same day. Repaired a ceiling fan and light in a hard to reach vaulted ceiling and replaced a breaker that was throwing almost every time I turned on my PC.

Cesar and Tiea were helpful, thorough, professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. They did a great job fixing some old wiring in an old home. They were great!

Watch out for their pricing. All we wanted them to do is switch out a bathroom faucet. Our bathroom faucet broke and I had a new one ready to be installed. They wanted to charge us over $600 for this very uncomplicated procedure. My husband and I felt like we were being robbed. We paid the $79 service fee and told the plumber to leave. I would never ever use this company.
