Apex Clean Air AC, Heating Repair & Air Duct Cleaning

Today Donovan Miller provided a home vent cleaning service (return vent and dryer Included) …..let me tell you he did an outstanding job!!!!
We have been in our home 2 years and it was unbelievable what was pulled out from previous owners. You can tell he really values his customers and cares. He went above and beyond to ensure our vents were as cleaned out as possible. Thank you so much Donovan. You were a pleasure to have in our home today and we appreciate you so much. Hands down the best service we have ever had from a company.

I recently bought my condo and bought a Groupon for air duct and dryer vent cleaning. Once the service guy (Emmitt) came and showed me just how nasty all the buildup was in my furnace and interior AC (from the previous owner) I decided to pay the extra to have everything taken apart and thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. The mold/mildew smell I couldn’t get rid of is now gone and I’m looking forward to breathing better and dusting less! Emmitt was very thorough, professional, and friendly! I am beyond delighted! The work performed today in my home was impeccable. Nick was professional and very efficient. He did a through job of cleaning my vents, return and dryer vent. I am very pleased with the end result. My home smells fresh and clean. I am very excited about my purchase of Whole Home Air Purification system, Halo-Led. Apex has great customer service too! I cant say enough good things about Nick. Apex sent me the best to represent their company! Good Job!!!

Mason was a fantastic service provider. He was professional, knowledgeable, and made sure everything was taken care of thoroughly. He went above and beyond to make sure our system was cleaned and sanitized. We truly could tell a difference the next day already!!

I called Apex Clean Air to perform a duct cleaning in our house after some construction work. Tyler called ahead and gave an accurate estimate for his arrival time within the window the receptionist had scheduled me for. He was very professional, kind, courteous and took very good care of our house - laid down moving blankets to prevent scratching the floor, wore booties on his shoes, and put up corner guards for the hoses and cables running around corners. He did a very thorough evaluation and suggested I also do some cleaning of the furnace and its components. He showed me the places where it was dirty, and I agreed - very dirty. He cleaned all the parts and pieces and they were spotless! He put everything back together and working and left the house better than when he came! I would highly recommend Tyler to anyone looking for a tech that they trust in their home.

I recently bought a townhome and because my son has asthma, ensuring we had clean air was a high priority. I had no idea how contaminated our
indoor air was until our technician ran a test. He encouraged me to purchase a whole house filter. I did and I am so glad he took the time to educate me about air quality. Within hours of installing rhe filter, my son commented that he could breathe more easily and the burning in his lungs was gone.

I am grateful for the professional service and attention to quality we received from Mason and Alex, the techs that worked with me.

We really appreciate Apex Air for coming out and doing a thorough inspection and a great job! Our technician, Emmitt, was great and found a huge clump of pet hair/dust in the fan from the previous owner. Our heat works a lot more efficiently and we’ll hopefully get a longer life out of our furnace. Would definitely recommend!

Updated 3-star review: A manager of Apex, Patty, called me and we had a long, honest conversation about my experience. I appreciate her taking the time to hear a former customer out and her willingness to improve their services. She sent a field manager, Frank, out and did a QC check and a free sanitation for the duct, along with a 20% reimbursement of what I originally paid for 2 weeks ago. They tried their best to make me feel better after I left a bad online review. At this point I have not decided whether I would use them again or recommend them to my friends; if I do, I would advise double checking their prices beforehand, and perhaps getting a second opinion/quote before committing to them.

Original 1-star review: First of all I believe the technician did okay on the duct and AC cleaning work. The negative review is based on the HIGH HIDDEN PRICES and my overall experience. I first saw Apex had Groupons available for duct and AC service at $50 each, I bought both and had an impression that I did not need to pay much more for those services on top of the Groupon price. When I made the appointment, the representative on the phone did not tell me the AC tune-up Groupon did not include any actual services, but instead it only serves as a system check. I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING TWO GROUPONS, IF ANY, FROM APEX because they had duplicated/minimal functions. On the day of the appointment, the technician, Seth, told me the AC tune-up would cost $600 extra, on top of the tune-up Groupon I paid for. The duct cleaning also costs $500 extra because the duct cleaning Groupon was quite useless as well. I regret not sending him away after his quote and stopping my losses at buying two Groupons at that point. I also told him I was interested in getting a whole home humidifier, he gave me a $1600 quote which was a bit higher than market price (800-1500 is the norm according to my sources). He then tried to hard sell me on a UV light machine (Halo LED by RGF) at $1900. I said I did not want to pay $4000 on the spot and he still told me I could use my credit card, offered me a payment plan, putting half down first, etc. I had a feeling that he was trying to meet his sales quota. When I turned him down on the UV light machine and only committed to the cleaning services, his attitude changed and did not smile again for the rest of the day. When he was doing the duct cleaning, I finally had some solitude from his intense sales pitch. I looked up the Halo LED and I was stunned at its price on Amazon at $515. THEY CHARGED ALMOST QUADRUPLE THE RETAIL PRICE ON THE UV LIGHT DEVICE. At that point I regretted buying any services from Apex because of the outrageous quotes the technician gave. During the AC cleaning, he took the blower fan apart, said it was dirty and malfunctioning, and told me I needed a new one at $1200. I should have turned him down, but I was afraid of his stone-cold attitude (after I turned down his other sales pitches), I was alone with him in the house, and I questioned his professionalism that he would not (further) damage my AC/other things, so I gave in. I felt cheated because he backed me into a corner, quoted me a wild price, and somewhat forced me into paying more. The aggressive sales experience left me an unforgettably bad taste in my mouth. At the end of his service, when he asked me to fill and sign a paper customer survey, he sat right next to me and watched me filling it out, so I felt highly pressured to leave him a “good” review. He asked me to leave a review on Google, so here I am and leaving an honest review to warn future potential customers.

I would like to give a shout out to Travis for being so professional. He showed up on time and explained everything thoroughly. He cleaned all the air ducts and furnaces in the house and he gaves us a walk through at the end of his work to show us that everything was functioning properly before he left. We are really satisfied with his work!!!

Biggggg Thank You to APEX Clean Air for sending out the best tech you guys had to my home! Gabriel was Not only was he Professional and Down Right amazin. He has the kindest soul and i didn't feel pressured into upgrading or doing anything right on the spot. help talked over and explain everything to me showed me photos and walked me though everything he's doing. he even be friended my 4 year old who asked 1000 questions & wanted to see everything ! He even made him watch him ride his scooter ! My baby now wants to be A Fix it Man as he says lol 😂 i love it. i can't thank you enough for him! he was so kind and made sure you get me the best price and make sure everything was clean to the T ! He took him time to make sure everything was spotless. he cleaned up after himself and again was just all around the best!
