I have known Ben for many years; he has done work for me before and has always provided excellent service. Today I awoke to a cold house as my furnace had gone out overnight. Ben and Dylan came out and worked diligently to resolve the issue. Ben is very knowledgeable, experienced and his costs are reasonable. Thanks to the Upslope team for an amazing job.

Upslope was awesome! I thoroughly vet the people I hired and I checked at least 10 other places. They actually called me back, showed up on time, walked me through every recommendation & quoted me on the spot. I scheduled with them almost right away expecting that they'd do a great job. Of course, when they arrived to do all my HVAC repair - they showed up on time, called before they came, were very professional about their communication and showing me everything that had been done. I would absolutely recommend them and would utilize their services again.

Made an appointment to get a quote on residential AC improvements. They said they would be there between 9-11. Showed up 30 min late. Spent an hour with me looking at our vents. At the end of the meeting tried to pressure me into making immediate decisions that were overpriced as well as sell me a germ filtration system I had no interest in. Then they told me it would be $165 for this “service call”. No mention of said fee prior to this. Enjoy the $165 that’s the last dollar you’ll get from me. Working with another company that will be doing $2400 in improvements to our system. They were much more professional and transparent. Would not recommend this company.

Update: the owners response below reiterates how unprofessional he is. He gave a better review of himself and how he does business than I could ever have done. Very thankful we went with someone else.

Called Upslope one evening earlier this spring when our very old boiler overheated. Upslope came to our home very quickly and got the scary situation under control. We decided to upgrade our old system with a brand new boiler system and we also upgraded to a larger water heater. Upslope installed our new system and it is keeping us toasty warm and we finally have enough hot water!! We would VERY highly recommend Ben and his team to complete any heating/cooing needs you may have. Thanks again guys!!

It’s HOT outside, but our home is comfortably COOL thanks to Upslope Heating and Cooling. When our A/C failed and the temperatures soared, we didn’t hesitation call Upslope again. They had previously serviced our heating unit and we noticed a remarkable difference in both heating efficiency and our electric bill.
Once again, Ben educated us about all our options, explained each charge and helped us do some future climate planning. We are hoping to upgrade our thermostat and add a humidifier.
These days it’s hard to find trust worthy reliable repairs for your home, but I don’t hesitate to recommend Upslope.

Amazing service! Ben and his team came to our house last week for a routine furnace service. While here, they tested the supply and return. They also walked my husband through what was causing the inefficient cycling of our system. After walking through the issues, they took the time to explain how to fix the issues, what we should do immediately vs. postpone, and a clear understanding of costs. They repaired the supply leaks and showed us the before and after. They also talked through how using the fan cycles of the furnace to balance the temperature differences between the floors, which will reduce cycles and overall electrical usage. They also discovered that the PSI from our city water was over normal levels and recommended it be tested it be tested by our plumber. While my husband is pretty handy and knowledgable, they took the time answer his questions and teach us some things that will improve our heating system this winter. My husband compared prices for the parts they offered and they were equivalent to what we could purchase ourselves. On the way out, they checked the hood vent over our stove/oven and recommended we open windows if using the fan over speed 3 to prevent negative pressure and pulling air up from the basement. Overall, they were very knowledgable, friendly and honest. We highly recommend them and will call them for future service.

Ben Chavez and his crew are absolutely fantastic. Ben patiently explained every step of the work, not only describing what he was doing, but precisely why he was doing it. His pricing is extremely competitive, and his estimates and invoices are clear and easy to understand.

The quality of the work they did was a work of beauty. The original installation at the time my house was built was obviously a rush job; the difference in workmanship between the slipshod system I had and what the crew gave me was actually startling.

They were courteous and professional, easygoing and just great people to meet. They left the work area in my admittedly cluttered basement looking far better when they left than when they arrived, and treated my house with care and respect. This was easily the best home contracting experience I have ever had, and I will recommend Ben and Upslope Heating & Cooling to anyone who asks.

My air conditioner began to not blow cool air into my home, and in this current weather that is a definite problem.
I literally called 25+ A/C repair services, only to receive either no call back or was told they had no availability same day.
Ben from Upslope Heating and Cooling called back within an hour and was also able to come out that evening.
Ben diagnosed my problem in ten minutes, was able to get me the part I needed, and up and running in less than half an hour.
Ben also gave me a few pointers on maintenance that I could do on my own to promote longevity of my unit, and recommended a better use filter as well.

I couldn’t have asked for a more genuine service technician, and I look forward to imploring the services of Upslope Heating and Cooling again in the future!
