JC Mechanical Heating & Air Conditioning

I was referred to JC by my gf who had an issue with her HVAC upon returning from vacation on a hot Friday night. I had trouble finding someone who would come to my complex to service and install a new HVAC unit in my loft. I made a call and they responded right away and repaired it soon after. I inadvertently forgot to change my filter and therefore my unit did not turn on. I called them and they came to my place replaced the filter for no charge. Such great service, I feel like I have support and a hand on my shoulder for all my HVAC work that would need to be done.

I hired JC Mechanical to replace my Moms ailing AC system. Jim, arrived promptly on time and even notified me ahead of time that he was on his way. He was very polite to my Mom which scores big in my book. Jim installed the new compressor, made sure everything worked, and left the place cleaner than he found it. Highest recommendations!

Gave me a quote on Friday, and when I asked when they would be able to install the A/C unit to replace the old unit, Jim, the company owner said they'd be able to due the job the next day, which I authorized. Jim and his helper, Mike, arrived the next morning after getting the appropriate equipment from the warehouse, and immediately began the required work. Jim had told me during the quote discussion that the old A/C had been installed with a 2-ton unit instead of the 3-ton that was necessary for the size of our house; which I totally agreed with as the A/C was never able to cool the house. JC Mechanical performed all the tests thoroughly which were recommended by the manufacture. Jim and his crew of 3 performed the install as efficiently and professionally with the utmost care and cleanliest habits possible. they will be my first call for any service they offer that I might need in the future!

Two gentlemen arrived, both polite and helpful. They observed the heating system is 24 yrs old and drawing more amps than it should, signaling potential failure ahead. We concluded that it could wait and replace the part when failure seemed imminent or occurred. I had a minor complaint about my first visit from a different technician, and wanted to applaud them for a very positive experience this time. Thank you!

Jim and his team at JC Mechanical were immediately responsive to our inquiry and offered to come out same day. They arrived at the top of the service time window and had the problem assessed and fixed quickly. What stood out for me, aside from Jim's knowledge and overall friendly and professional manner, was Jim did not charge me for the straightforward repair of our heating system. Because it was a simple repair, Jim completed the repair for free. I only paid the initial fee for Jim to come out. I will remember his kindness with my business in the future. We had a great experience with JC Mechanical.

Jim & team replaced our 2 furnace/AC system as well as moving the AC units to a better outside location. They worked their faces off and got all of the job done in one day. All of the guys were super courteous, professional & friendly. Very happy with the work & the price - would highly recommend.

He was very nice, professional, and knowledgeable. I initially had them come out for a repair. Right then and there he told me that he could repair my furnace, but it would be better to replace it due to the wear and tear and the age of the system. I didn’t feel like he was just trying to take my money, I felt like he was just being honest. They are reasonably priced, and I would definitely use them again.

Jim was a very professional. His office administrator was in full contact about the appointment time and when Jim was in route. My a/c unit is 20 years old. Jim tried everything to save it and nothing seemed to work and I was devastated.
A new unit was going to cost me at least 6,500 dollars. But Jim would not give up and had one more trick up his sleeve, and it worked. Jim went above and beyond. Jim is very knowledgeable and an honest local business person, and I’m positive his staff is the same.

JC Mechanical was able to squeeze us in first thing in the morning after losing our heater on the coldest night of the year. The crew explained the failure and gave us options for repair and replacement. We decided to replace the furnace and couldn't be happier with the installation and service.
