We used Lakeside to replace out boiler in our new home. They did an amazing job. They took the time needed to make sure everything was perfect. We have two kids and their routine was able to stay the same even with them working. They contained all of their work, and wore shoes covers around the house. Very professional and clean. Thank you Kel and your partner!

Where to begin? I suppose I'll begin from the start, this superb HVAC company has been serving the metro area for close to 50 years and five generations of family a truly fantastic TEAM!! Tony was awesome and so knowledgeable and the best thing of all, he listened to what we wanted. We needed a new furnace and wanted to add a AC unit. We weren't blind going into this venture and did our research so we had an idea of what we wanted but I must say, we got a bit tangled in the weeds so to speak. So much information out there, SEER this and EER that, high efficiency, good efficiency, single stage, dual stage, variable speed and on and on. Tony listened, explained and simplified everything so we had a better understanding. My wife and I are seniors on a fixed income during this covid pandemic and our furnace going out couldn't have come at a worse time. Tony gave us a peace of mind that 4 other contractors didn't. No high pressure and no over selling at all, he gave us ample quotes for several different units to pick from and pointed out the differences. Every discount, every rebate there was to be gotten we were given and Bill, Tony's father handled any and all questions we had before we decided to go with Lakeside, Marissa their receptionist was such a pleasant person to talk to and promptly had Bill or Tony call us back when they were out of the office. Finally Chael and Derrick the installers were a professional delight to have doing the installation. Any questions whatsoever they knew the answer to and there confidence in the Daikin and Lennox air purification was abundantly obvious, these young men know their stuff!!! One thing I know for sure, you can purchase the cheapest or the most expensive BUT and it's a BIG BUT, no matter what you choose to buy and have installed is only as good as those you choose to install it. LAKESIDE HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING of Arvada, Co. has my business for a long time to come. They are by far the best TEAM you could ask for in the HVAC industry. An honorable mention to the electrician contractor Mike Vincent of Perfection Electric was courteous, professional and confident as well. My apologies to all if I misspelled your name or left anyone out that I had any dealings with. My wife and myself couldn't have been more pleased in our choice.
Stay safe and stay well in this time,

Called with a furnace problem on a cold chilly morning. Holly set up and appointment that morning. The problem was quickly diagnosed by the Tech Dave. I decide to replace my 33 year old furnace unit and 15 year old water heater. Consulted with Bill who was very knowledgeable on what to replace it with. Chael installed and completed the job the next day. He was professional as I have seen.
Responsive, punctual and efficient. Good team effort. Thank You.

They saved me thousands of dollars over the "Club" store and I got high efficient equipment and an extended parts and labor warranty!

From the first phone call I was treated with respect and that continued on throughout the whole process.

A big Thank you to Bill and Tony and everyone else at Lakeside Heating & A/C for a superior job and great customer service. I know I am valued as their client!

They did a great job on installing a new AC unit. They came in to do a quick estimate, they hit their estimate and really stressed the small stuff in terms of quality. I'd definitely recommend and will be using them.

This is our 2ND purchase from Lakeside now that we moved into our new home. And once again we have one of the best air conditioners in the whole neighborhood! Our neighbor came over yesterday to tell us how much he loves our a/c because it's right outside his bedroom window and even when it runs at night he never hears it because it's whisper quiet.

Since moving into our new home we've had to deal with so many contractors and I really never realized how hard it is to find a company that lives up to the standards that Lakeside Heating has always put forth. They were respectful of our new home, showed up early, worked hard until the job was finished, and installed a quality product. (So efficient we get a rebate from Xcel!)

Thank you Rebecca, Bill, and Tony! We love our new a/c!

2 words: VERY PLEASED! Lakeside Heating and Air-Conditioning is what you wish all businesses were like…Quality equipment, excellent installation, fair pricing, and terrific people! These people know their stuff and know what Furnace and Air-Conditioner is right for your home. Tony Buras, Chael, and John… thank you for a job well done!

When we started looking for a new furnace and air-conditioner, it was time-consuming, confusing (1 stage, 2 stage, modulating, SEER ratings, different Xcel rebates depending on efficiency ratings), and frustrating. It’s amazing how many HVAC companies don’t know the new technology. We got numerous quotes to replace our 20 year old furnace and A/C. Some companies told us there was no such thing as modulating air-conditioners (some weren’t even familiar what qualified for the Xcel Energy rebates of over $1000).

We literally spent days reading online reviews and reading about the new heating and A/C technology. We were fortunate to find Tony Buras, owner of Lakeside Heating and Air. He explained the differences in the technologies (in layman’s language) and gave excellent recommendations on which furnace and A/C would be best for our home.

We chose to put in a modulating Lennox Furnace and A/C unit, and it’s working beautifully. And it’s quiet. For the first time ever, our whole house (even the 2nd floor) is comfy even when it’s really hot outside. Tony also suggested a minor (and very inexpensive) change to the duct work which helps maximize cooling and heating and lower energy bills. Not one of the other HVAC companies mentioned this very inexpensive duct work modification.

Like I said, Lakeside knows their stuff when it comes to heating and air conditioning. Plus, the installation team did excellent work. The duct work is straight, the joints are neat, the City inspection passed immediately, and the Lakeside installation crew respected our home. They taped down drop cloths, wore foot coverings, and vacuumed up when they were done. It’s the way you wish all home repair businesses did business.

Personally, we like dealing with quality family-owned businesses if we can. It’s one less “middleman” in the price quote, and in this day of Internet reviews, family-owned businesses with longevity are often there for good reason…i.e. their products are good, and they take good care of their customers. At least that’s been our experience.

Our new equipment has only been in place a short time, but it’s working beautifully. Lennox is a quality name, their 10 year warranty is standard, and according to online info for modulating units, the energy efficiency and dollar savings are dramatic. For those who like quiet, these units are quiet. If your outdoor A/C unit sits near a patio, the unit is much quieter than the older A/C units.

We had our AC system installed in 2011. At the end of 2013 summer our air conditioner worked poorly and had to run a long time to get the house cool. At the start of the 2014 summer our AC no longer cooled the air.

We originally called Lakeside to come out and fix our AC, but didn't have availability until late the next week, so we called Applewood who could get out sooner.

Applewood found that the system had been installed poorly using a freeze stat, which should only be used when everything else fails. This caused premature freezing of the pipe and likely caused leaks inside of the house. The Goodman unit that was installed had valve leaks and the outside solder joints had minor leaks.

The major area of concern is how little coolant was in the system, from the point of view of the repairman he believed the system had too low of coolant when it was first installed. The major cost of the repair was in replacing the coolant as the leaks were easy to fix ($1000). The install likely didn't put the recommend coolant in (to cut cost), which in the end we are told causes your AC to run more, run up your electric bill and burnout your AC unit sooner.

When I reached out to Lakeside to see if they would help offset the cost of the coolant and repairs, they explained that the system passed its inspection when installed and it wasn't their fault.

We are very disappointed with Lakeside and their lack of responsibility for a poor install. We were impressed with their bid and when we thought they install the AC properly. I likely wrote them a rave review 3 years ago, but that was before we had a 3rd party tell us how poorly the system was installed. This was a very costly mistake, I'd hate for anyone else to get fooled like we were. There is absolutely no reason a properly installed AC unit should have multiple leaks less than 3 years after install.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND DOING BUSINESS WITH LAKESIDE HEATING.
