HVAC was repaired by replacing new unit under warranty by
J MARTIN HVAC. Tim, who is the senior, came to our house to make a report of the issues that was required to replace the furnace. Santiago & Antonio performed the replacement of the unit and did a superb job with great speed. very satisficed with the service of J Martin. Would recommend their services to everyone.

This review is long overdue! J Martin has been an absolute pleasure to work with, from the start of our project to the end (and well beyond!). We received multiple quotes from different companies, and -- in addition to being the best value -- J Martin was the ONLY one that mentioned we would be eligible for a $3000 government rebate when replacing our broken gas furnace with an electric heat-pump system. Special thanks to Caleb for pointing that out! Caleb was also the only one to take the time to sit down with us and come up with the right solution, and provided a quote right on the spot.

The installation team (I think it was Irvin and Kevin) were super friendly, professional, and thorough (they even came back to fix the airflow in my daughters bedroom). J Martin made sure everything was fully up to code -- they took care of everything, and all inspections passed with flying colors. The system was installed just in time for a scorching summer, and the AC worked like a dream.

Once it started getting colder, we realized the heating would stop working at random times throughout the night, however J Martin had someone out here that very next day to take a look. When the problem came back a couple days later, Jared Martin himself came out to inspect. Jared reached out directly to the manufacturer and resolved the issue once and for all (turned out to be a factory defect). Now we're all set for winter and the upcoming holidays. That’s honestly the first thing that comes to my mind when I think about J Martin. The customer service and response is amazing! I used J Martin for an annual maintenance on my ac and heater unit and I was also interested in getting a quote for getting my ducts cleaned. I spoke with Jesus initially and he was so polite and courteous to working around my busy schedule (taking care of two crazy kids).

A couple days later I had Joseph and Caleb call me with an update as to when they would arrive and greeted me at the door with masks and shoe covers in hand…so thoughtful!! They looked at everything and even went into the attic! They went over some recommendations to improve my indoor air quality and help protect my ac and heater unit. I opted for the full package!
Their install team came out the following week and cleaned all my ducts, installed a new nest thermostat, a 5 inch filter and an air scrubber in my unit. I’ve only had it for two days and already can tell the difference. I wake up feeling amazing…I can actually breathe!!
Oh! I also signed up for their maintenance program to keep the filter and my units clean! I am so pleased with everyone at J Martin. It’s so hard to find an honest and reliable company that actually cares about you. #customerforlife

I had Jared and his team install a five ton compressor with seven Mitsubishi multi split units throughout the house and garage. The job was done in a few days, and working beautifully.

After a few weeks, there was an issue with one unit, which we discovered was a minor manufacturing issue, and not related to the install. Jared was out right away to get it repaired, no questions asked!

With the complexity of these new systems, you want the peace of mind from a Diamond Certified installer! J Martin will give you that peace of mind and throw in two extra years worth of warranty. You cannot beat a 12 year warranty.

I was grateful enough to get them same day. Caleb was our Service Technician he sent my husband his name and number. Which made me feel safe as a women knowing who is at my door and there ETA. When he arrived he was friendly, used social distancing, & had a mask ready. He wore stuff to protect my floors from getting dirty. He spoke with my husband prior on what it could be and he was right. I honestly know nothing about my AC and I appreciate how honest they are. Thankful that we didn’t have to buy a whole new AC Unit and that he was able to fix it right away and the price was not very expensive. I bought my house last year and it only had a furnace so I badly needed a new AC/Unit. Since this was a big job I made sure to obtain several quotes. After reviewing and discussing the level of effort that was required for my new unit I decided to go with J. Martin. I felt very at ease talking to them and they always got back to me when I had a question. Caleb came out to my home and discussed the process, he was very knowledgeable and provided me a lot of good information.

On the day of the install 3 gentlemen came out (Santiago, Carlos, and Luis), when they came in they introduced themselves and walk me through the whole set up. Santiago (lead installer) did notice some issues with my ducting and also found that we had some asbestos, he gave me some recommendations on how to move forward. Not once did I feel pressured into thinking I had to add additional work to the job, but in talking with Santiago and Caleb I did decide to replace the ducting and get a company to remove the asbestos.

During the process I had a million questions but Santiago always took the time to explain and answer my questions. They showed me the before and after work and I was very impressed. The cooling system works great and it's very quiet. I am very happy overall with their service, I definitely would work with them again.

We have used J Marin two times in the last couple of years. We have been extremely happy with the communication, customer service and installation process. It is a small family run business and they truly do care about their customers.

We first installed a whole house fan - which I would recommend to anybody even considering it. The installers were friendly, efficient and did a great job of making sure everything was cleaned up.

Most recently, we decided it was time to upgrade our air conditioning unit. This was a much bigger job so I made sure to get several quotes from other companies. Long story short, J Martin had the best price and offered a much better unit, including replacing all the ducts and repositioning our condenser to a different area in our backyard. They were able to get us scheduled within a weeks time and finished the job the same day. The installers were great. They took the time to explain how the new unit works with our Nest thermostat and made sure they cleaned everything up.

I highly recommend this company. Again, it is family owned. You are dealing directly with the owner Jared or his father. They will do whatever they can to earn your business

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!! I rarely need a HVAC guy but when I do you want someone I feel like I can trust...Jared at J Martin is someone you can trust. I was quoted on a new HVAC unit from other companies and couldn't stand the used car sales pitch they were giving ("tell me how much you want to spend and I'll tell you how much it cost"). I read all of the reviews on Yelp about J Martin and emailed them at 10:00 pm at night. The next morning they e-mailed back and Jared was at my house by 9:00 am. He assessed the situation and agreed I needed a new one. I asked how much and he gave me a reasonable price, I agreed to it and by the next day the unit was installed and we had ac again. Best HVAC company in OC!
