    Michael was friendly, knowledgeable, informative, and did not try to sell me things that I did not need. He serviced and inspected my A/C unit, inspected my furnace, and installed a Nest thermostat. All of this was a part of a DWP program and was free. I recommend Service Genius. They have great phone customer service and give timely updates over text and email regarding upcoming appointments. They email artifacts to you after the appointment is over, as well.

    I have had problems with my A/C needing frequent recharges, and it was low again this year. I contacted Service Genius, and they sent their technician Michael over. He was polite, courteous and recharged the A/C and also identified a small leak and went over the options on handling the leak. He also checked on the health of the compressor and quality of the air flow which was a service that previous companies I had contacted never did. I will definitely use them again in the future.

    Service Genius came to my house as part of the LADWP A/C Optimization program. They were fantastic! From the first they clearly communicated with me the date and time of my appointment as well as what would take place the day off. Vladimir my tech arrived and went right to work on our a/c, after that he serviced the furnace. He then installed the NEST wifi thermostat. (love it!) He showed me how to download the app and then set everything up and explained it to me.
    I will definitely be recommending Service Genius to everyone I know.

    The Service Genius Air Conditioning and Heating sent a service technician (Nate) this morning to my home after fixing an appointment glitch by adjusting its schedule internally after learning that I took a whole day off and was waiting for the planned service. The company really takes its customer first and treats them as the most important element.

    I never used them in the past, but my neighbor used them two weeks ago and referred it to me because it can do a really good job.

    It turned out this referral works great. I saw Nate performing a thorough testing and diagnostics as well as cleaning two condensers. He also checked my heating unit on my Attic and installed two transformers inside the compressor or two furnaces due to the existing Air Scrubber.

    He is also a good teacher who explained to me very clearly with patience, for example, when he installed a NEST Thermostat, he told me the following color wires functions:
    The blue (C) color wire is common, red (R) is for power, white or brown (W) is for heating,
    green (G) is for fan and yellow (Y1 ) is for AC, but Y2 is for a two stage heater.

    In addition, he helped me to download the NEST APP to create an account and etc.

    In summary, I am extremely happy with Nate's professional services. I strongly recommend to call Service Genius Air Conditioning and Heating when you need a service.

    I used Service Genius to service my air/heat as part of the LADWP rebate program and now I know who I will call if I ever need air/heat service again! Making an appt was easy. They are super organized giving reminder alerts and giving updates on when the technician would arrive, even sending a photo so you feel safe letting him in your house. Eduardo was super neat, clean, kind and efficient. I felt like I was in a commercial for what good customer service looks like. Good job guys!

    We received absolutely exceptional service from Service Genius. Eduardo was so helpful and informative to show us the best way to maximize the use of our ac, with the lowest possible output of energy. They installed a free Nest (love it!), did a through inspection of our ac unit and the ducts, refilled the freon and performed a thorough cleaning of the unit itself. All this was absolutely FREE! Everyone should be taking advantage of this program!
