LA Construction Heating and Air

Great experience:) The technician who came to my house is Christian Penado who is respectful, professional and experienced. He explained to me the process and the things he has to do during this visit. My HVAC is actually less than 8yrs old and I expect no issues at this time. Christian didn't find any issues at all.

I was advised of a 2 hour window of when to expect the technician. I was texted ahead of time the technician was coming and arrived within the window. The technician was nice and knowledgeable and explained the status and future needs.

We’ve been using these guys for years. Prompt, professional, clean and competent. That’s about all one can ask for in a service technician! And they always do a great job. Thanks again!

UPDATE#2: LA Construction eventually did come out and do an extra application of sealant on the duct. I am still a bit bothered because the duct will require extra maintenance and vigilance to ensure that it doesn't end up leaking every time it rains, but LA Construction did cover the costs for the interior drywall repairs, which was extremely professional and went above and beyond. They would have received their original 5-star rating if I never had to deal with the leak in the first place because overall the installation process was positive and the price was competitive, but the saga with the leaking duct puts them at 4-stars.

UPDATE: Ever since LA Construction installed my AC unit, furnace, and duct work, there has been an active leak from one of the ducts they've installed every time it rains. I've already called them twice (back in December and again the other week, the only times we've had significant rain): they were unable to repair it in December and haven't returned my calls or emails since the leak returned in March. I have a new roof surrounding this section of ducting, so the leak source is definitely from work done by LA Construction and it needs to be fixed!

Previously: I had a great experience with LA Construction: we had an AC/Furnace installed in our 100 year old home and LA Construction got us priced, scheduled, and installed with little trouble. They coordinated all the inspection and permitting work for us and the system is working great.

I found the whole team to be very knowledgeable and professional. They performed the work per schedule and the cost was very reasonable.

Showed up on time and replaced my filter and cleaned the outside equipment. Also checked the Nest for any abnormalities. Great service!

LA Construction Heating and Air was the third company on my list to get a quote for replacing my furnace and condenser. I was planning to go with company #2, who urged me to contact LACHA for a phone or next day quote so we could move forward. Little did I expect that LACHA, specifically Leonard, would provide the most detailed, most cost-effective quote, using good brands, and with multiple options, no less. In fact, the quote was easily $6,000 less than the second quote. (and almost $10k less than the first quote!). I signed the paperwork and worked with the office to schedule installation, HERS testing, and the final permit inspection. Throughout the process, LACHA was communicative, friendly, and professional. The team who did the physical installation was excellent. I got them set up that morning and then got out of their way; they took care of everything, wrapping up by mid-afternoon. I am thrilled with the work they did and would recommend LA Construction Heating and Air without reservation. Thank you!
