The repair man from Highway HVAC, Eli, was very professional, diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed it quickly as well. I was very happy with the service I received. I was in a position where I was going to have to wait a couple of days for my normal provider but Highway HVAC came by right away and I really appreciate it.

Personally had no experience or understanding of AC units or HVAC/Heating systems. Eli came out and did a thorough job of analyzing and explaining all the issues thoroughly outlining all options and costs.

I paid the $69 dollar fee with a quote in hand and Eli followed up later to see if we wanted to move forward. Felt nice to not be pressured into making a decision on the spot. Gave me time to research costs and talk to my wife before making a decision.

For my house, it turned out to be bad news, my compressors were R22's and is now illegal to add Freon due to California's new law against R22s and Ozone depletion. As for the Coils, I felt Eli was honest for he could have said to me that we needed new coils as well but he said they are ok and upgradable and can be used with new compressors though in a few years, they too will most likely need to be updated.

In the end, the overall experience was very professional, great communication and worked quickly and efficiently to get the job done in under 1 day for two new compressors, flushing the system, updating a couple parts (no extra charge) and Eli even went the extra mile to buy 2 new Ecobee 3 thermostats and installed them at no extra charge.

I would call him again in the future for sure.

Not only were they prompt, they addressed the issues I asked to be addressed.
The technician gave me an actual quote on the spot instead of a we’ll see once we begin work runaround.
I received a quote from another company that was 10x more for a system “overhaul” they insisted would be more appropriate even though all I needed was for the drainage line to be flushed and the refrigerant to be topped up. It’s hard to find transparent and competent contractors like Highway HVAC.
Finally a HVAC technician I can recommend.

Our AC system was not cooling as well as it should and needed to be inspected and diagnosed. The person setting the appointment was friendly and helpful. Communication (text and email) leading up to the appointment was very good.
Eli came and performed a detailed inspection and diagnostics. He was able to explain what the issue was and provided a detailed report with pictures to document the problem. I was very pleased with the service from Eli and Highway HVAC Services and will call on them in the future.

These guys are really fantastic. They replaced my AC unit and my wall heater. You can tell they’re super dedicated to their work and care about making sure everything is done right. Very professional, personable, and followed Covid protocols when in my house.
Eli also responds so quickly and tries to make sure the work is done as soon as possible. Recently there was an issue with my heater, and I sent him a message around 9am one morning and within the hour he was at my house to figure out what the issue was. Fixed it by the afternoon. I highly recommend these guys and their work! (:

Highway Remodeling Group has done an amazing job on our house.
We live in West Hollywood and bought our first house . Eli helped us make that house a place we now call home. He helped us with everything, from color choices to types of materials that would work best for us. He did our driveway, kitchen, bathrooms (3 of them), changed the floors, put in new windows and installed a new roof and gutters and lets not forget the painting (inside and out side)
