Affordable Air and Heating

My AC went out during a good heat wave. Over 90 degrees in the house. Anthony came out, same day within a couple of hours to start the work. After a few minutes to diagnose and pull up my account he was at work on the repair. Repeat customer with affordable air, appreciate them coming when you need them.

Fransisco, John, and Elvis were the installation team that replaced our AC and furnace. They spent all day taking out our archaic system and installing new units. They took time explaining everything to us as well as doing an incredible job. I highly recommend. They were all professional, patient, Covid safe and hard-working.

Before I selected Affordable Air and Heating, I researched many installers of central air and heating systems. I checked their credentials and publicly available customer reviews. I obtained price estimates from many companies including Affordable Air, with each estimator coming to my home. Also, a separate highly-rated HVAC expert who operates in the San Fernando Valley and Santa Clarita and who only performs "repairs" and does not perform installation, had recommended Affordable Air to me.

I made my decision to hire Affordable Air based on 2 key factors:

(1) On several occasions, I spoke on the phone with Manager ADRIEN ROCHA and he courteously answered all my questions fully, and he was always "straight-up" in his responses. He also worked a LOT in getting me the best price for his company and me. I appreciated that Adrien took the time to carefully explain a lot of very important technical information in an understandable manner - - he wants Affordable Air's customers to be well-informed consumers. I'm sure Adrien had a lot of work to do in his office, but he was always very courteous and informative when we spoke.

(2) Supervisor and team-leader ANTHONY GONZALEZ performed an in-person estimate in my home and he took a lot of time (much more than other competitors) in carefully answering my questions. Anthony also did a more careful walk-through and evaluation of my home compared to the competitors. Anthony emphasized Affordable Air's expertise and its consistent A+ customer reviews - - but, he also said that regardless of whether I hired Affordable Air or a competitor, I should make sure to address specific issues that he showed me regarding my old Central AC unit and my house. This created a LOT of trust in me for Affordable Air.

Anyways, I spent a lot of time researching many HVAC companies before I made my selection, but it was all worth it - - I'm entirely happy that I selected Affordable Air.

The team's 1.5 day replacement of my home's entire HVAC system and the team's complete removal and replacement of my home's very dusty, old, and difficult to remove attic duct system was an exceptional operation on every measure of performance. I'm a stickler on every detail, and I don't want dust and dirt or a lot of disruption, etc. Everyone on the Affordable Air team was very courteous and friendly, and they all performed the actual removal and replacement of my attic's very dusty ducting in a careful, clean, and expert manner. Similarly, their removal of my home's old central air and heating equipment, and their installaton of the new HVAC equipment was performed carefully, cleanly and perfectly !

Throughout the 1.5 days, they treated me and my home very respectfully, and they performed all their work and their Clean-Up as if it was their own home.

There was one minor and honest "hiccup" when a team-member was removing a portion of the old rusty attic ductwork. Team-leader Anthony Gonzalez quickly and expertly solved that hiccup, and his careful focus and his hands-on work and solution gave me great confidence.

From start to finish, Affordable Air is the BEST OF THE BEST ! 12 Stars out of 10 Stars ! Overall very happy with the level of service I received. This was my first time using this company and was surprised to get someone out for an appraisal same day, and an installation a few days later. The install techs (Tony and Fransisco) were right on time and helped explain everything they were doing for my better understanding. The quality of their install is very high as well.

I had a recent and positive experience with Affordable Air. This month I noticed my AC was not putting out cold air. I called a different company. The guy came out for an inspection. He told me I had a bad capacitor switch, and a refrigerant leak. But he could not find the leak. He said he could fix the switch and recharge the system, but it would be very expensive to find the leak and I should considering replace it. I let he fix the switch and recharge the system, but told him I'd be getting a 2nd opinion for the rest of the work. So I called Affordable and I believe I spoke with Vito. We had a good conversation, I explained the situation to him and he tried to diagnose the problem and laid out some option for me. So I made an appointment. Isaac came out in the afternoon. He started off with the simplest way to find leaks, water and soap. He could not find a leak. Nor could he find any evidence of a leak. He was very careful NOT to accuse the other company of lying about a leak. I thought that showed a lot of integrity and I appreciate that. He said a bad switch alone could explain what my system was doing. He advised me to hold off doing any more work and just monitor the situation. He took photos and showed me all the areas he had looked at. He also said my system was in good shape and did not need any work. It's been 3 week since the first company was out, and 2 weeks since Affordable was here, I just ran the AC and it's putting out 53 deg air. Maybe it was leaking or maybe not; Affordable Air could have easily taken advantage of the situation, but it seems to me they were honest and helpful.

RIP OFF!! RIP OFF!! RIP OFF!! DO NOT USE AFFORDABLE AIR EVER!!! They came out to repair a fuse in my A/C unit and charged me $185!!! The repair to 5 minutes. This is not an exaggeration. "Affordable Air" is anything but... Total RIP OFF

I had the affordable air crew at my house to install all new air and heating equipment. Jesse, Michael and Anthony were very polite and cared about my home. They all wore booties the entire day even with having to be in and out of my house! I was very impressed with the customer service I received especially with the office staff. They called me the day before to confirm my appointment, and the day of to let me know they were on their way to my home. I cant wait to use my air conditioner this summer!!!! I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family. Thank you affordable air.

Was able to get scheduled same day. Tech came out and was able to fix part of the problem and told me about other fixes we should consider in the future. No pressure just information.

What an excellent experience. Our thermostat was not working. So, I googled air conditioning service in our area, and found Affordable Air.

I called them up on a Sunday and requested an appointment. I expected to hear that the the first available appointment would be for later in the week. Nope, they said they could be out to my house the same day. They repaired the thermostat in about 20 minutes. Their technicians were very professional and very knowledgeable.
