Very amused with their service and offerings I don't think they need to change anything more except other than they need to hire people and value them more because I had a friend who was a really great coworker at the hardware store I work at and he knew it all and he said they let him go because he asked for a sick day which to me the company needs to be more lenient on when they can take a day off since things usually come unexpectedly and they should know that not everything is possible at the same time. People need to understand that when you're short staffed you can't expect the same service. I am glad I live only a couple of miles from this hardware store because it's convenient and easy to get in and out.

Been too long since I stepped foot inside a Morris Levin and Son and let me just say they did not disappoint. If you haven't been here you should check it out. They have pretty much anything you might need. From guns and knifes to light bulbs and tape, clothing, shoes, and BBQ grills, and everything in-between, you can find it here. And that's just the first few steps inside the door!
Definitely recommend Morris Levin and Son for all you everything needs.

UPDATE: The owner, David, responded to my original review within two hours asking me to call him and I'm really glad I chose to take him up on it. Our conversation showed me that he clearly cares about existing customer as well as potential customer experience. I feel assured that the interaction I had yesterday is not typical nor tolerated by their company. I appreciate when an owner takes action and responsibility. He takes their "Code 1” Service Philosophy (where EVERY customer receives personal attention) seriously. I am very happy to support them in the future after his extra effort to set things right. Thank you, David. It is interactions like this that make it worth it to support local.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: I called to get assistance and I was met with a rude and unprofessional individual on the other line. I've never used nor called this company before as I haven't had any any of these type of issues happen yet since owning my house. I had assumed it was a quote type system - they come look at it and tell me how much it will be to fix it. Well I guess I was wrong in my assumption ... after I briefly and politely explained my situation and asked if someone could come look at it and give me a quote on the work, the woman on the other line goes, "You want a quote?!" like I asked the most offensive question ever. I stated I had never had this problem before so I assumed it was a quote type system, and she gruffly responded with "the rate is $99 an hour that starts from the moment the tech leaves the shop to the moment they return" in a bored and annoyed tone. I thanked her for her time, she told me you're welcome without any attempts to ask for my information to follow up so I hung up. Sadly, I can't vouch for their work because my relationship with them ended there, so maybe her assessment that my business was beneath them was correct and they aren't hurting for business. I called Hodson's and they very politely told me they would have a tech call me and schedule a site visit to look at my furnace in one to two days.

If you live in Visalia, consider another plumber for services. They charge driving time from Tulare to Visalia and back. I had to drive to Tulare to get a receipt after multiple requests.
