Alen was incredibly helpful. He went above and beyond to make sure we understood what was going on with our plumbing. He’s super knowledgeable and very thorough. I will definitely use Thousand Oaks plumbing again. They’re fair and fast.

Please be careful! There's a whole ring of these scams in LA... We encountered something very similar with a locksmith and our water heater and now again with a plumbing issue. The story is so similar that I actually suspect all 3 could be somehow related.

These companies go by one name online, but their estimates and invoices have a different company name on them. We discovered this company because we called "Joe the Plumber in Tarzana" Joe The Plumbers invoice; however, was under this name: "Thousand Oaks Plumbing".

They charge a fee to come out and they send someone extremely personable who doesn't have the right supplies to come assess everything. The person that comes out is almost scripted -- they find more wrong than what you called them for, they trash talk either a previous worker or a neighbor, and then they provide you with an estimate that's nearly double what it should be. Then, they take videos to pass off to the real plumber who you've never met, but will be doing the work.

They will leave your house with everything in the exact same condition as it was when they arrived and if you do not proceed with hiring them, then you magically owe them $100 for doing absolutely nothing. This is how they basically bully you into accepting their astronomical estimate.

The fine print on the estimate says you have 3 days to cancel. If/when you call the office to cancel, they tell you to call the person who came to your house and explain why you want to cancel.

We have dealt with this 3 times-- paid $100 to people who not only lied to us, but then created more problems than what we started with. Unfortunately, when it's happening to you in the moment, it's really hard to spot.

Please please please keep an eye out for this!

I have had two major situations at my house, the first being a broken gas pipe and the second being that we had to replace and renew the drainage system outside.
Brian, who is a phenomenal diagnostician, was able to pinpoint where the problems were, and Henry and every single other person working here were professional, informative, and kind, and at the end of each project the cleanup was impeccable. I am extremely happy with the work that Thousand Oaks Plumbing has done at our home!

had a leak quoted over $900 to fix, I normally get cross quotes and got the leaks fixed for $125

These guys are cowboys and try and take you for whatever they can. make out the job to be bigger than it is.

Randy Arnold what's the technician that stopped by my house. My gas had been turned off and he stopped by my house after hours to repair the pipe so we could get our gas back on and have a warm house overnight. He was extremely nice, very professional and knowledgeable.

Allan did an incredible job. We had a problem with not getting hot water to the master shower. I thought it was the tankless water heater but Allan quickly figured out that the problem was in my shower. He solved a very complex problem and rebuilt the internal shower fixture quickly and professionally. I highly recommend him for any plumbing problem.

Stacie was great. She explained everything to me in terms that were easy to understand, was clear
About what was happening and the expected result. She came back the next day with her colleague Tony who did a thorough camera review and found a problem that could potentially be very expensive. So we discussed a plan of attack and I will forever use TO plumbing for all my future needs. They are the best!!!! Thank you Tony and Stacie!

After two other plumbers that were not responsive, I found Thousand Oaks Plumbing. I had called for a quote and the company was able to get me in the next day. Not only that they were able to replace my water pressure system the same day. The plumber was professional and went over everything with me on what needs to be done.

Alberto was very professional for the hydro-jet cleaning of my yard drain, he used several different jet heads and through a few different drain opening to make sure the full yard drain pipeline is unclogged and cleaned, the hydro jet also cut plant roots in the drain pipe, now my yard is ready for the next winter of rains!
