HIghly pleased with the service we recently received. From the initial call the person scheduling our service was extremely responsive and accomodating. Our service tech was Alex and he couldn't have any more knowledgeable, polite and thorough. He quickly diagnosed the issue with our furnace, provided an accurate quote on the needed part and labor. Within days we were contacted that the part was available and a follow-up service call was scheduled. Alex expertly completed the repair and checked the system and thermostat for operational effectiveness. We couldn't be any more pleased with our experience with Burkell.

Burkell came out on time, diagnosed the problem, told me it was not an emergency and that I could monitor it and get it fixed later if needed. It was really nice to not be "pressure" sold on something I may not need and given an honest estimate of what it would cost to be fixed. Thanks Burkell! Alex is the best, a true professional in every sense. Our vented gas heater had stopped responding to the thermostat - Alex arrived on time and diagnosed the problem right away. He went right to work on the repair, had the system working perfectly in less than an hour, and then took the time to explain the new hardware he had installed. We are now total converts to Burkell and we will use this great company again.

Called to arrange for repair of a Dishwasher Air Gap and a small leak in a waterline under the kitchen sink. Plumber arrived on time, but did not have a replacement Air Gap on his truck, so we had to wait for one to be sent from their base. Air Gap and new water line installed Elapsed time 1 hour 15 minutes, including the wait for the new Air Gap.
Was told the cost for this service was $425! I enquired as to their hourly labor rate, as the cost of the parts was only in the order of $25! Plumber informed me that their rates are $225 per hour. As I was clearly unhappy about the amount, I was then asked if $255 was acceptable? I reluctantly paid this amount, but would certainly want a firm estimate in any future dealings with this company.

Just received an estimate from Burrell Plumbing. They were punctual, friendly and responsive. Estimates was polite and courteous. They will be doing a heater installation for me. Good customer service!

They diagnosed the problem with my furnace and then fixed it! The fix took a few hours because they had to re-wire the whole furnace. They stayed until the job was done, even though they didn’t expect it to take so long.

Did not tell Guillermo to not take off toilet from floor. He said he might have to but never asked my permission to do it. He got the 2nd set of gaskets ( the original) to go back in place and got it sealed. I told him the gasket I bought was for a Koehler but didn’t work. He still tried to do it but has same result as I did….Leaks !! Then he did what I asked which was to try original gasket and bolts. It worked but only after he tried both gaskets. Said he had never used the new Kohler gasket before and decided to try old one and it worked. I feel the extra charge was out of line and I didn’t know your fee was $225/hour for first and second hour. I’m used to a fee for initial visit and additional hours at lower rate. Felt like I was helping you train your employee. Please consider a partial refund for your overcharge.

Price of service went from 170 last year to 280 this year for same service. He spent 30 minutes at my house and didn’t resolve problem.
