    I have a rental in San Anselmo and this is my first experience with Ongaro & Sons. They were excellent and professional in every way - from my initial call for scheduling - and the Heating expert who came to the rental - he was thoughtful, considerate, professional to myself and tenants and took care of things promptly and explained the process. I am grateful to find such a company like this who also has fair prices. Thank you!!

    Jason was very helpful and professional. He examined my furnace then took his time explaining the problem to me and carefully answered all of my questions. He then thoroughly explained my options. I did not feel rushed through at any point. I definitely recommend him.

    We use Ongaro & Sons exclusively as there is no more professional, courteous or knowledgeable people in the industry. Andrew who is "our" guy has done such a great job that we ask for him if he is available. A few years back our heater was acting up and it was in the middle of winter during a very cold spell. The service tech spent hours and even came back that evening after getting parts to try and make that old heater work. He kept it going for a day but it was a "goner" so we had Ongaro install a new high end heating system. Our house gets warmer much quicker and we could not be more pleased with the caring of the staff and the company. I would recommend them to anyone who wants great service over anything else.

    Wish we could say that we had a good experience with Ongaro and Sons, but can't recommend them based on the following:
    1) Pedastal sink not bolted back to the wall. (Lucky we figured that out before it tipped over on someone.)
    2) New tub spout not anchored in so it moved from side to side!
    3) Hand held shower connected backwards.
    4) Tub chipped in multiple places.
    5) Crew told us as they were leaving that they didn't clean up since it was so late.
    When we contacted their office about these issues the next morning they forwarded the call to their customer service department. Left a VOX. No call back. Called again a few days later and they questioned why we didn't have someone come back the next day to fix the items instead of moving forward with replacing the tile that had to be removed in the tub for the plumbing work. That was not an option when you have other companies on tight schedules that you have lined up to do necessary work so you can have you one bathroom functioning again. Then they stated they would fix the chips in the tub, but a few days later they called back to tell us that they wouldn't fix the chips because their plumber said he had protectect the tub so it couldn't of chipped. Well, it wasn't chipped before they started and chipped after they left. Guess we should have taken photos before they started any work, but when you have a company charging champagne pricing you expect them to not make such rookie mistakes as listed above and to make good on any issues they caused. So while the customer service guy who quotes the job is super nice and does his job well and we did get our sink and tub faucets, etc. replaced we are left with a bad taste in our mouth and totally disappointed with this company's customer service. BTW - They charged us to come out and quote on our project and then wanted to charge us again for another quote because the current supply chain shortage prevented us from getting our fixtures for 3 months. Luckilly, it was the guy who quoted us the first time and he refused to charge us a second time stating that it was "bad customer service" to attempt to get more money out of us.

    Can’t say enough good things about these folks. I had seen their vans in the area several times so I thought I would give them a call for an estimate for air-conditioning. Alex. the technician/estimator who came out, was incredibly helpful, incredibly informative, a straight shooter and instills tremendous confidencep in what he proposes.
    Seems to be an honest company. I do believe I will be going with them for the work.

    All personnel were competent, well-informed and friendly. Ian especially spent an hour to help locate the source of some water leakage affecting carpet and wall. After a lot of work checking everywhere, concluded the water had come from a leaking water heater which had already been repaired but which had been leaking for a week prior. Great effort and great detective work!

    Jason was a pleasure to work with. He came out last week to address an airflow problem. He was successful in locating the issue, but had to order additional parts and schedule a second visit. Today he installed the new part and rebalance the airflow to ensure that all the rooms on the system were in balance and within 1 degree of the temperature set on the thermostat. Really comfortable!

    Mark came right on time and found the source of the leak in the garage roof around the vent pipe. He went up to inspect it and found what the problem was and was able to fix it right then without having to schedule another appointment. He was congenial and knowledgeable. I always have a good experience when working with Ongaro.
