    As a Marine Corps vet I prefer to give my buisiness to companies that employ fellow veterans. This time it was a mistake. My wife and I needed service done on our AC/Furnace system and we called Smart 72. The tech was nice enogh but didnt really address the problem. He then immediately pressured my wife into spending almost $14K on a new system (after "discounts"). The contract was poorly written and didnt have the model number or even brand of the new unit listed on it. When we called to find out what unit it was they gave us the run around and said "their warehouse manager was busy and they would get back to us". They never got back to us. We got a second opinion and the other HVAC company was able to fix and service it on the spot. We subbmited cancellation paperwork within the specified deadline of 3 BUISINESS days, as listed on the contract, and they still have not refunded the money. When we call their customer service line they say the accounting department will reach out to us. A week later and still silence. Smart 72's entire customer service expierience is lacking and their practices are unethical.

    Jeremy was amazing to work with, clearly knowledgeable and professional, and just an all around good person. The scheduling team as well (Mary Catherine) was very nice and got an appointment set up no problem at all. Highly recommend this service.

    Prompt service and very much service based provider! Jeremy arrived early and was accommodating to my request to inspect the furnace while performing the scheduled inspection of the AC System.. always appreciate working with the Smart72 Reps!!!

    Starting with the pleasant interaction with the sales rep, which was enlightening and complete, to the service provided by Smart 72 Inc. installation crew, l couldn't be more satisfied. Their professionalism as a team was excellent.
    Competitively priced.
    All appointments were kept on time, all work was completed as promised. Everything is working perfectly.
    I would recommend this company 100%.

    I ordered and paid for a Home Depot performance plus water heater but they installed a $260 cheaper model. I cannot readiness a dishonest company.

    I Was given a 9am to 1 pm time window and at 1:15 I was told they were an hour away….though when I scheduled I told them I absolutely could not stay later than 1:30.

    The installation team was great when they got here, and I realize that sometimes being late is unavoidable, BUT INSTALLING A CHEAPER WATER HEATER THAN WHAT I PAID FOR IS INEXCUSABLE .

    My business experience, with Smart72, was absolutely terrible !!! Smart72 was totally unreliable.

    I bought a new hot water tank, for my rental house, from Home Depot. The cost, of the new hot water tank, was about $880. That was a very fair price.

    Home Depot picked Smart72 to; deliver (and install) the tank. After Smart72 had finished, I was out more than $2,800. That is not all.

    Smart72 called me, at nearly the last minute, to tell me they would be more than a full day late; in delivering and installing the appliance.

    “Maria,” the Smart72 representative, was very polite and professional in her behavior. She profusely apologized, for Smart72’s full day of delay. She is a nice lady. That said; my last minute experience, with Smart72, was a total disaster.

    Smart 72 sent me a text day of the appointment with picture and name of the technician assigned which allowed me to verify his identity.

    Shaun was the technician they sent to come out and inspect my system and give me free quote. Let me just say I've had plenty of HVAC/ Plumbing technicians inspect systems over the years and Shaun's performance and his going above and beyond to identify the proper issues was awesome.

    I was having issues and my A/C wouldn't operate turn on or operate properly. Shaun came out and opened up my system, tested everything and it seemed that it was my circuit board that was the issue ($650-1000 fix). Shaun took down my thermostat and replaced it with a new one he had brought in his truck and after that got set up, retested system and it turned out that the issue was one of the components on my thermostat. So the new thermostat was $189. Additionally, I've had issues with animals damaging my ducting so Shaun happily climbed under the house to inspect that and verify there were no issues.

    While he was doing testing, we had discussed various costs and he even quoted costs if I decided i wanted to replace the system. After he was done and I paid for thermostat (he was able to accept payment by credit card on his tablet), he asked if I would be interested in still receiving quotes we had discussed, he said he would put in some extra notes and send them over.

    Based on Shaun's performance, I would happily recommend this company. Whatever this young man makes, he deserves more. He made it a very pleasant experience.

    I had a text message informing me of the time the tech would be here, and it was perfect, the service tech was professional and very courteous, I will defiantly use Smart72 for all of my heating and air conditioning needs, and even solar panels cleaning.
