A-1 Heating and Cooling is excellent. We will use them again. This was a big and expensive job for us. Our 23 year old central air conditioning system finally broke down on the hottest day of the year and my elderly mother cannot handle heat. A-1 came over the house the day I called, immediately gave me a written quote, and they kept to the penny through the entire installation of 2 central air conditioning systems, one for upstairs and one for downstairs. Their bid was $1000 less than the nearest competitor (I had 3 bids). The A-1 people were all extremely professional gentlemen, neat and well-groomed in appearance, and very courteous. We were comfortable having them in our home. They were very careful of the house and floors and laid down coverings to protect them. A problem came up because they were connecting a new system to an older system at my request, and they returned quickly, in less than one day, and fixed the problem with no additional charge. The gentlemen had to access the attic (which was very hot) and the crawl space (which is very tight) but were pleasant and reassuring throughout the entire process. We will definitely call them again when needed!

They promise maintenace on installed systems and do NOT FOLLOW TJROUGH. THEY OVERCHARGE ALREADY AND MAKE EMPTY PROMISES per my church Calvary from Echoes in Salinas they hounded them for payment and do not satisfy customers This church went elsewhere when they needed service

I recently had A1 install a new AC unit in my 2 story house. They were extremely professional, no pressure, from the start. At every stage, the initial evaluation, the pre-installation prep, to the installers, the 3 teams were knowledgeable and respectful. Their ability to tackle my unique installation needs truly sets them above the rest. My was not a simple install and even though it took them 2 days to install it, normal they can complete the entire job in one day !
Jusr One Day ! No disrupting your household for a week and they did an amazing job. My household is enjoying the cool AC for the first time.
Can't recommend them enough !

Called A-1since they installed just a year ago as it wasn’t cooling our house. Made a appointment. They came very next day. Danny our technician super polite, efficient didn't waste time new what the issue was immediately. It was as simple as the heater door being open and it caused the pipe to freeze. Appreciate the fast service on these hot days.

Hyman, Salesman was professional and one-time. He walked me through the replacement process and cost of replacing both my AC and furnace. I elected to go with a different company, only because of a personal recommendation, otherwise I would have selected A-1 Heating and Cooling - their prices were competitive and proposed delivery was timely.

Great communication and detailed options on estimate. Once I make a purchase decision. A-1 is where I will definitely ship first.

As a local plumbing contractor, I Can’t thank A-1 Heating and Cooling enough…!! With this recent heat wave, we lost power down in Morgan Hill and when they turned it back on, it knocked out my AC. Desperate for help in this terrible heat wave I called A1 and spoke with Kylee. After listening to my situation, she went above and beyond and found a tech who lived in Morgan hill and agreed to work late to come by and diagnose my situation. Not too long after, Darren showed up, diagnosed my issue which ended up being a blown capacitor, fixed the issue, changed my filter and gave my system a mini tube up! All in all very happy with this company, professional, great customer service, excellent technicians and overall great experience.

Excellent experience all around with A-1 on our furnace replacement. Arranged through Lowe's. Knowledgeable, experienced staff. Quick turnaround with competitive quote. Good followup and guidance from sales staff. Prompt appointment for installation. Expert installation work. Passed third-party and city inspections. Furnace works fine. Be aware that modern furnaces have a noisier exhaust flue than older furnaces like our 50 year old Sears Homart. You may not want the exhaust pipe near your bedroom window or your neighbor's bedroom window. We had ours installed in the front of the house, exiting from under the porch.
