Chris arrived right on time. He is extremely knowledgeable and fixed our antique furnace in a short amount of time. And he is honest, provided clear explanations, and didn’t try to over sell. Five star, highly recommended! Wish all service men are like him.

So here is my saga. Our furnace stopped working during one of the coldest days in SF. HVAC places were swamped, so instead of our regular HVAC company, Apollo, we initially asked a company called Cyclone to come out.

They came, said the motherboard was shot, and that our furnace was so old they probably wouldn't be able to find the replacement part. And even if they did, it would be $1K. They wanted to replace the entire furnace for $5K.

So we called Galaxy, and Apollo, mainly to get another quote for a replacement but also to see if they could fix it. Galaxy told me the timer was out, they couldn't replace it because they couldn't get the part, and they quoted me about $5K to replace the furnace.

Finally, Apollo (they were very busy) came out, and the guy says "your control unit is bad." So I was like, darn it, so you have to replace the furnace? And he goes "no, I have the part in my truck, and it costs $200." So fifteen minutes later, the furnace is working, and it cost $380 after labor and taxes.

After being referred to Apollo Heating by a friend who had his furnace and ductwork done by them and was very happy, I gave them a call and setup an appointment to inspect the furnace in our home. They came out and did the job very quickly and installed an automatic pilot liter. They were extremely professional, friendly and their prices were very reasonable. Once again, we had a wonderful experience with Apollo Heating & Ventilating. They actually did a new furnace and duct work for our previous home and we were thrilled with the result. So, when we moved back to our current home earlier this year, we knew that the ducting could only be done by Apollo. Manny came out a couple of weeks ago to measure the area and give us an estimate which we felt was comprehensive and very fair. Yesterday, Manny came with his brother and another worker, Tim, and all three of them spent the entire day installing the new duct work and repositioning the furnace. It looks beautiful and works more efficiently than ever. We highly recommend Apollo for all heating needs and feel fortunate to have found an honest and reliable company!

Great service, they came to my house and fixed some clogged elements of my gravity furnace. The furnace worked significantly better (heated up the house 2-3x as fast) after the service appointment. Very reasonable rates as well.

Apollo came in to our office and repaired our furnace after another company failed to be able to fix it and has suggested a new heater. Apollo fixed a very complicated electrical issue and showed mastery at understanding the wiring....replaced a circuit board and more...all for $190. Best money I ever spent. Reliable, trustworthy!!!

I had other plumbers come to the home & either tell us our motor was dead or that we needed a new heater altogether. Apollo told us otherwise -we simply needed a small piece replaced. The service visit and visit was a mere $147 vs. $6000+ that others quoted. I highly recommend them. Thank you Apollo!

We had Apollo Heating come out to our apartment last week. Manny showed up on time and was very courteous and knowledgeable. He fixed a small problem while he was looking over our wall heater and although we did not end up replacing our furnace as we thought we needed to, we will be scheduling service with Apollo Heating & Ventilating for our wall heater and the others in our apartment.

These guys don't charge to come out and give you an estimate, which immediately puts them ahead of the local competition.
Recently I had another repair service quote me $1,100 to fix a stuck induction motor. These guys repaired it for $350!
The mechanic who came by was very polite and even fixed a few other small things. Very observant and helpful!

I used these guys when my furnace stopped heating last year based on positive reviews on Nextdoor. They are GREAT. Honest, efficient, reasonable and nice. The other contractor told me I would probably have to replace the furnace and redo all my ducts. Apollo replaced one valve and I was good to go. Thank you Apollo!
