Atticman Heating and Air Conditioning, Insulation

Normally I am a DIY type guy but this issue had me stumped. Thomas R did some great troubleshooting and got the issues resolved. He was pleasant to talk to, and didn't mind the few questions I had. He also discussed other options moving forward including the plan they offer and I will be considering that as well as a surge system moving forward.

From the quote to the final inspection, this group of people is AMAZING. I was here with my landlady and observed that, for once, there wasn't any pressure on her to purchase. Colin came by for a final walk around, and he absolutely made us customers for life. He was pleasant, engaging, and the type of person anyone would be happy to take home to Mom. Knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and has a wonderful personality. His can-do attitude sets the bar for expectations of customer service and satisfaction.

Trevor arrived exactly when scheduled. Got a text notice about 30 minutes before. Very convenient. He was pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. I knew what to expect. After the HVAC service was complete, he cleaned up the area. I am 100% pleased with the service provided and I will use this company again.

HVAC system. They came back the next day when I thought it wasn't working to trouble shoot. Appreciative. They do good work but good work costs a fair price.

A/C compressor wasn’t turning on - Atticman responded quickly and sent Luis out to diagnose- needed a new thermostat to get it going but given the age of my unit it also needed a new capacitor and a few other things to have it run efficiently and hopefully get me thru a few more summers. He didn’t have all the parts but is returning soon. Luis was courteous, friendly, worked quickly and got my system up and running. So I’m happy. He gave me several options for repairs and let me decide which works best for me. Prices were reasonable I guess since I didn’t shop it around. But I’m ok with my decision. So if they return as promised I would highly recommend them.

Everyone was very kind and respectful. They installed a new AC system, new water heater and added attic insulation. Plus, They made sure to fit me in before the weather got hot!
They were also very thorough from the start through the inspection.

Nice touch with techs picture in arriving in 30 minutes text. On time, Nick checked everything and found starter capacitor failing. Explained how all worked and offered solutions. Do not feel I was sold something that wasn't necessary. Diagnostic visit would have been no charge , except that an issue was found. Very comprehensive in evaluating all components and relating how they function. Seem very honest.

AtticMan did amazing work on a new HVAC system. Great customer service, During the first heatwave in 2023 for Sacramento were able to get me financing and scheduled in two business days! Thank You so much

Thomas did a great job finding areas of concern and explained it very well. I felt I got an objective assessment of the condition without any high pressure. A welcome change from other companies.

Update: Another five-stars. Two years later, Atticman continues to provide exceptional service and communication. A few days ago service person Nick came by to tune up our system and to make sure everything was working correctly, especially the AC unit before we head into the hot summer. He was on-time, polite, and no mess left behind.Thankful we are prepared for months of 90+ degree days. Thank you Nick and Atticman.

Approximately two years age Atticman replaced our heating and cooling systems. Since then they have been dedicated to providing regular tuneup service. Just yesterday, Joel came by. He explained what he was going to do, then did it, confirmed what he did, and provided his findings. We're very thankful for their service and very happy with our system overall.
