Peter and his crew installed a new Trane Heating and Air for us. They ran the gas line and put in all new ducts and bigger registers for better air flow. They enlarged our return as well. His crew was courteous, knew what they were doing and made our whole install pleasant. We took several bids, and theirs by far was a better deal for the wonderful equipment they installed. Our home now is cool and we even used the heater this morning which is gas. We love it!! The house was warm in 5 minutes. If you are in need of a new system, don't hesitate to call Peter and his crew. They are amazing.

Gave a 3 as we were not called to approve repairs, nor did he do a full inspection of the ac unit. The owner was understanding and gave us a refund. Although we still have not received the refund via a check.

I work and stay in the bay during the week. My son texted me at 8 o’clock last night that the AC wasn’t working at our house in Sacramento. I did a quick search and found this company, read some of the reviews, used their text feature from their website and had booked them even though they closed at 5 PM for the next morning between nine and 11. The technician texted me twice to let me know he was running behind and what his ETA was. He arrived at 11:45 AM, had diagnosed the problem by 11:55 AM, and had fixed it by noon. It was a reasonable price with no gimmicks about needing a new system (which I’ve experienced first hand from other companies in the past). These will be my go to people from now on for AC issues!

A Cool Air installed a heatpump in our house in July 2017. I've dealt with many contractors and service people over the years and this company is the best. They are honest and professional in all aspects. Peter, the owner, sized the unit to match our needs perfectly. We are saving about 30% in energy costs to heat and cool our house. The only service needed was to replace an out of balance fan blade. One e-mail and the problem was taken care of. The company provides a great warranty in addition to the factory warranty. Highly recommend!!

A Cool Air is hands down the best AC company in town! We have been very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with them and their service is absolutely top notch! We have been quoted by another company for a full HVAC replacement, however, A Cool Air was very honest in their diagnosis saving us a few thousands and even able to fix our unit same day. It truly felt like working with a family member instead of a business. Additionally, getting an appointment was very fast and easy and the technician that came out was very professional and knowledgeable!

I found this company through Yelp and their numerous good reviews there. Although I gathered 5 proposals, A Cool Air offered the best price for what I came to feel were the smartest options. Bigger companies had fancier presentations, higher prices, and "salespeople" whose commissions were I'm sure part of their price. But I liked the fact that Peter, the owner, is an engineer and although he's not as slick a salesman (though he's definitely opinionated, ha ha), he pointed out some options that made sense to me while not blowing the budget. Visiliy at HQ did a great job of scheduling and keeping me posted on everything, including the HERS tester and the visit for the final permit signoff. Peter's son Roman was the foreman and a charming young man whose presence and diligence added a reassuring touch through the process. We'll see how well the new two-zone system works when summer arrives -- that will be the test for Peter's recommendations -- but so far it works great and if it proves effective this summer, my current 5 star recommendation will stay right where it is. Give these guys a try!

Quality of service begins with leadership, thanks Peter. This company exhibits excellent professionalism and outstanding service. The team is courteous, punctual, excellent communication skills, and performs work in a quality manner. Scope was a complete Trane Heating & Air Conditioning System installation, all work was done with craftsmanship and I am completely satisfied. Also, the final inspection for the building permit, passed the fist time.

Competitive rate, and felt much more honest and straightforward with their quote and consultation process. A few other HVAC companies I tried working with applied a lot more pressure during the process and were dishonest about incentives, expected savings, and whether I needed to replace my water heater. I'm glad I shopped around and found somebody who I felt I could trust.
