We Care did a good job installing my HVAC system and quality of service and work seems good but I don't care for the constant attempts at additional service I may not need. Also if a part is under warranty, why am I having to pay for them to process the warranty with the manufacturer. Thats just nickel and diming the customer. The tech (nice guy) replaced the capacitor (2nd one in 4 years) - capacitors tend to last longer than that - under "warranty" but it still cost me $270 for them to replace it (capacitors are less than $50). Their work is good which is why their prices tend to be higher but I don't want to be nickel and dimed after every routine maintenance and especially if a part is under warranty - that should be free.
Happy to finally have the thermostat issue resolved. Thank you to Tony (my original salesman who is back with the company), Darrell (manager) and Juan, our tech. Juan was at our home for approximately 3 hours going thru the entire system and finding that the techs who previously serviced the thermostat did not notice the air flow was set too low and causing the system to "override" itself. Even though the thermostat was probably fine, (they had the air flow settings incorrect) they replaced it anyway. Juan took the time to show us the settings as well as all of the notifications the system was providing. Juan was very knowledgeable of the system and patient in helping us get it set up to our phones.
While we have had past experiences that were not good, Juan more than made up for it with his professionalism!
Since I know most working folks are doing their best day in and day out, I don’t post negative reviews. However, I know how hard it can be to find honest help. So, I’m posting this review for the benefit of other consumers as well.
My furnace blower stopped working last winter and I decided to call We Care mainly due to their online ratings. We Care sent a tech and after looking up in our attic and running some tests the tech told us that our furnace had some cracks and that there was no way to fix it. I thanked the tech for coming and told him that I would contact We care and two other companies for replacement estimates – I received three estimates and I told these companies that I decided to wait, save some money and replace the furnace at a later date. What I didn’t realize at the time was the tech had dismantled the furnace, disconnected the AC, and failed to put it back as it was.
Fast forward to summertime - I realized my ac/thermostat display was not working. So, I called the “we care team” on Friday to help me determine if the work they had done on my furnace last winter impacted my AC/thermostat. Dispatch did not know and was not able to connect me to a tech without a fee therefore I asked to speak with a manager. I was told on Friday the manager was busy but he would call me back later that day - but never did.
I then called a local company to come and check it out – the tech came out to troubleshoot my AC/Thermostat and found my furnace dismantled and completely disconnected – He was baffled to learn that a professional tech would dismantle a furnace, fail to put it back together and leave all parts laying around in the attic!
Finally, I called We Care this morning and asked why they would dismantle my furnace and not put it back together. Dispatch was not able to provide a reason. Again, I asked to speak with a manager and was told they had no managers available on the weekend. I then requested we care to send a tech at the soonest to put my furnace and all connections back as they were – so, that a tech can properly troubleshoot my AC/Thermostat and I can use my AC in this blistering heat. The soonest they can send a tech out is Monday afternoon and so I’ll edit and finalize the review after their visit.
Confidence restored – just a quick update. Got a call from We Care Team’s VP of Operation yesterday --- who took the time to hear me out and in the end made things right. My AC is up and running again...thanks to Juan - which by the way was super helpful, professional and pleasant to work with. I would give the We Care Team a second chance based my interactions with the VP of Operations, Juan and their willingness to come back out to my house and make things right…..Now, I pray my AC works through at least this summer and next. 😊

Tyler came and did all he could do to find out why our ourdoor system was not working. He ran test but everything showed that it was fine. He did a good job and was very respectful and clear in letting me know his findings.
Even though I had a membership, they would not return phone calls. Many times found something in my house that needed to be replaced. Stopped the membership. Not happy with service. They have gotten too large. They don’t seem to care. They should change their name to Don’t Carepp
My We Care Maintenance warranty gives me peace of mind knowing my systems are checked and maintained annually. The small monthly fee is affordable and they let me know every technical detail and proof of any issues that might require attention. I find the technicians to be clean and thorough, caring and courteous.
We Care came out promptly and was able to give me a solution to the problem with my AC. The service technician Trey was amazing I appreciate his hard work, honesty, and it was just a pleasure to have him out to my home. He invited me to observe what he was doing and I really learned a lot. I appreciate Trey and We Care, and because I am on a fixed income they were able to come up with a solution to fix my AC unit that I can afford.
I installed my Ac and furnace back in 2019 and I haven’t had any issues. I had a tune up appointment for maintenance today and Malik was great! Knowledgeable and responsive. I will continue calling We Care for all my AC needs.
I like to complement all “We Care Plumbing” team for a work well done installing our full HVAC System. From the sales personnel Ryan Obremski who quoted me then respectfully allowed me to do my homework without feeling pressured. He was fast to respond to the thousands of questions I threw at him. He would periodically send a text stating “I’m here if you have more questions” To the Technician team led by Cesar who were all respectful, they explained the process throughout the installation. The clean up after the installation was impressive, noting was left behind. These guys are PROS
