R&R Heating and Cooling

Dustin quickly responded to our AC going down this past week. Found that our copper lineset had been punctured during backyard renovations and sent his 5star technician Andy out to open up the wall in our master bedroom to access the line and solder the damaged line. AC humming along now before the blistering Inland heat hits, and R&R got us up and running again! Thank you R&R!

We were staying in an air b&b in Temecula wine country and the heating system went out Dustin got out of bed at 2 am and came to the rescue! He was unfortunately able to get it running however he being a saint went back to the shop to get an emergency unit to keep us warm for the night. His crew arrived in the morning and got it switched out (similar review on vrbo for the owners) the team were quiet and respectful of our stay and had it done before our corporate guest arrived by 3 pm for dinner. In fact other than being comfortable we couldn’t even tell they had been there! Big thanks to these guys especially Dustin who made it all happen.

Not only were they able to service and repair our AC unit, but they did it during a heat wave, and everyone knows how difficult it can be to get quality care and service, during a heat wave. Dustin and Herberth were knowledgeable and courteous. They didn't try and give us the run around, and were just straight and to the point. They definitely saved our family as it's the first week of summer, and well, the heat is on folks! Thanks R&R!

R&R has been incredibly helpful with my home’s AC issues providing a tremendous amount of knowledge, guidance, and repair service. The two gents I worked with (Dustin and Shane) were incredibly insightful and professional. They made sure to go above and beyond to keep my AC working in tip top shape. I called R&R Heating and Cooling because in thought the water damage in my ceiling was from the AC unit. However, Dustin tracked down the cause and turned out to be a pinhole sized leak in a copper pipe. Despite it not being HVAC related, he stuck around to patch it and came back to fix it. He was very professional and he even took the time to drop some knowledge on me.

I had different company come out for a Smart thermometer install mid-day on a Friday. After 90 minutes of trial and errror, the tech left me with an inoperable heating and cooling system and I had to rapidly find another company to come out to correct his problem. I frantically started going down the list and came across R&R. Customer service took my name and number, called back within 5 minutes with a tech who was willing to come out on short notice. Dustin arrived right on time, and within literally 1 minute of explaining what a disaster the previous tech had created, Dustin knowledgeably diagnosed the problem and offered us an immediate solution. R&R and Dustin were highly professional, responsive, and within 40 minutes my HVAC was up and running again, AND he correctly installed a smart thermostat as well, something the other company could not do properly. We are very impressed and thankful for R&R Heating and Cooling and would be pleased to have them serve us again whenever the need arises.

Dustin responded right away to my call. I was able to get service same day which is incredible. Came exactly the time stated, had the part, and fixed the problem. Very reliable and trustworthy. Highly recommend.

Dustin was an excellent technician, was very knowledgeable and did not give us the run around. He made sure we understood the work he was performing. Great service overall!

Within a few minutes of being at my house, told me the compressor was out. Didn’t open the AC at all to diagnose anything else. Told me to replace the unit instead of trying to fix compressor due to being around same price. He then opened the unit and said a hard start blew up and said he could replace that for $250 and put it towards replacing the AC later since it would fail again. Told me to replace would be approximately $7000 for just the unit and $10000 for the whole package. I told him I would shop around since I wanted to get quotes from other companies. He Kept pushing to ask what price to have R&R do the replacement. He dropped $2000 off of the price by the end of the encounter. I did not believe in the integrity of the company at this point. I chose to have another company evaluate the AC and they removed the hard start and my AC was working properly after that. They took the time to evaluate what could be wrong instead of R&R that just jumped straight to replacing my unit due to it being older instead of trying.

Dustin was awesome. He knew what he was doing, polite, and very knowledgeable. Ill definitely recommend Dustin for future hvac services. Thanks you Dustin. You save my family and I from the heat.
