I called Zenda Heating & Sheet metal for an estimate on replacing my 30 + year furnace on October 18, 2012. The estimate was very reasonable and stuck to the estimate while getting authorization to have the work done (gated community). Chuck and crew were very helpfull with all my questions and superb installation. I had no problems with the city permit inspection due to modifications that needed to be performed, I also had extra work done to replace and reposition the gas line. I would like anyone that needs heating work done to give Chuck and crew a call.

We spent quite a lot of time talking to HVAC contractors & getting bids (after running into a couple we found that we could not trust). Zenda's bid was reasonable, inclusive. No surprises! No problems! The owner & his crew were efficient & friendly. They showed a high level of expertise. They listened to us & our concerns to find the best solutions for our home. They were careful with our property, our pets, & to explain everything to us. Excellent quality furnace at a fair price! Really good, efficient crew! We will call them first in future projects.

While we initially had a few issues with communication and scheduling, once the owner, Chuck, was made aware, he personally came to our home to take a look at the duct work in our heating unit. He took the time to answer all our questions, made sure we understood what work was being done, and we are satisfied with Zenda HVAC. Thank you, Chuck!

Zenda Heating and Sheet Metal just installed a new heater and air conditioner in my home this month, June 2020. The work was done on time with such professionalism. Their employees were very courteous and kept the job moving along. The workmanship was excellent and they finished in a timely fashion. I picked the right company for sure!

Kyle was absolutely wonderful!! He was very kind and responsive to my needs. Kyle got my bathroom vent unclogged from the dust that accumulated over many years. Thanks so much Kyle for your help!!

Unfortunately I did not have a great experience with Zenda and hope it was just an outlier as previous reviews for them seem positive.

TLDR: I was charged a $125 fee for a tech to tell me my furnace was broken and needed to spend $1,000+ to install a brand new heater for my home... PG&E came out a month later to inspect the same problem and lit the pilot light in roughly 10 minutes and it' has been working perfect for months now.

I Had a rep come to my house and inspect my furnace as the pilot light was not staying lit. He stated the gas valve was broken and needed to be replaced and would provide me the part number so I could look it up and find a replacement.

A few days passed and eventually he sent me an email with a list of estimates on installing a brand new heating system for the house, all $1,000 + options, which is clearly not what I wanted. When I emailed back asking about the replacement part we discussed and what would be needed to replace it, he never responded. I reached out to him again 3-4 more times over a few months and he never responded.

The company made it clear that they would want me to purchase a brand new system for my house instead of doing a cheaper repair option. I understand a business needs to make money but it was unfortunate they had to be dishonest and not help me with my issue.

Chuck Zenda’s staff was prompt, courteous and professional, and completed the work as stated in their contract. I would not hesitate to use them again.

I remodeled my home and as a result removed the old heater and all of the ducts. Chuck and Kyle designed the new duct system and heater vent locations. Kyle installed the new ducts, etc... and later the high efficiency heater. His work was impeccable. I am very happy with end result. I highly recommend this company and suggest you request Kyle to respond to all of your HVAC needs.

We received a response from owner Chuck Zenda himself after regular work hours to check my 91 yr old mother’s furnace. This man was so professional & dwn to earth. He quoted on Wednesday & Friday my mother had heat restored with Chuck coming to make sure all was ok & moving along & also when the new furnace was turned on. His Technician was a very nice professional young man. My mother has Dementia & slipped the Technician a $20 & he tried to give it back to me. Integrity & honesty is all I can say about this young man. He is an example of employees of Zenda’s company. Besides, he deserved it for being so kind to my mother when she checked on him multiple times while he was trying to work. They left the area clean & the old furnace was gone.
