Steven was very friendly and knowledgeable during the service call. It turned out that our AC unit was working fine and just needed a filter replacement. We have used this excellent company several times and will continue to do so for any future HVAC needs. Highly recommend them!!!

We had a full system replacement with 1st Choice Heating & Air Conditioning in April 2018 after a furnace fire. They were competitively priced and their service was top notch. They responded right away, worked long days in 100+ heat and did a great job. The quality and professionalism from everyone we’ve worked with is beyond expectation. I’ve referred many people to them since we had ours done and everyone is always happy with the service.
We had an issue with our compressor over the weekend, they responded right away, diagnosed the issue, got the part in and are fixing the problem on the next business day. I will be using them for any and all of our AC and Heating needs.

Jeff was a very experienced, professional & kind technician! He proactively also checked out filters and was able to replace two on the spot and discussed what other ones we needed to preserve our HVAC system. Also, the company was continually notifying us via text of his status, from when we booked the apt to his arrival and even his departure. Extremely efficient process. Since the moment you call to set up an appointment, Richard is patient, understanding, and thorough. He was able to give me an appointment the next day and before Thanksgiving Day! He explained in detail everything the technician checks for AC and Heating system. The price is very reasonable and the amount he quote me is the exact amount I paid at the end. They are reliable. Call 30 min before arriving. Bring booties to protect your floor. They are careful and clean. But most of all, Jeff Moak, was very respectful, honest, pleasant, and professional. He took his time to make sure everything was running correctly and left a brand new filter 20x30x1 because they are caring. When I asked him for couple of cards for my relatives
he gave me plenty, which I very much appreciate since now a days some services ask you just to go online or just take a picture of the info on their van. From here on 1st Choice Heating & Air Conditioning is my First and only Choice to Maintain my Air Conditioner and Heating System:)

Our heating unit stopped working one day so we called 1st Choice who sent out Chris and James the next day. Good thing because had been unusually cold (40's) in So Cal. They found the problem and made a temporary fix. Turned out to be the flame sensor and the device that kept it clean.

The new parts came in within a couple of days at which time Jeff and Chance came out to install them.

Great professional service, fast response. The repair was covered under warranty so I can't comment about the costs.

Steven from 1st choice arrived a couple of minutes early for my appointment and was a very nice guy. He was wearing a mask and protective shoe coverings, which my wife appreciated during these uneasy times. Throughout his inspection he seemed focused on finding a cost effective solution to my problem, but unfortunately my original A/C system was over 30 years old. He explained that fixing the current issues didn’t mean that the system in total would last any longer.

I received an email from James that afternoon and after checking with 2 other HVAC companies, James was significantly lower than both of them and he had also quoted a better unit for my upstairs system.

Installation was obviously a big job, but the process was explained to me thoroughly and was completed faster than they had quoted. I always appreciate honesty up front and of course, follow through!!

I was a general contractor prior to my current line of work and I would highly recommend these guys! I’ve seen the good and the bad in this industry and 1st choice is about as good as a specialty Contractor gets.
