Hydes Air Conditioning

We are new to the desert. This was our first time using Hyde’s. We found several great reviews on Next Door so we wanted to give them a try. We were very pleased with Danny. He was pleasant, courteous, informative, and honest. We will continue to use Hyde’s as long as we have Danny take care of our HVAC needs.

Thor was fantastic. We bought a home built in 2004 that had 3 AC units and none have been replaced. We know we are on borrowed time. Thor assessed the 3 units and honestly said really only 1 needs to be replaced this year, but that the other 2 can likely get through another summer and be done next year. What a great moment of honesty. I give my highest recommendation.

Frank Velarde was very friendly and professional. The only thing that was unexpected was the time he spent here. Other times we've had our A/C System maintenance, the service person was here at least twice as long. Frank did let us know that everything was in working order. It just seemed a little quick to me.

Josh and Jesus installed my new Mitsubishi ductless AC and heat pump. Josh answered any concerns/questions I had. He was knowledgeable and very helpful. He took his time showing me how to operate the system and explained routine maintenance requirements. I highly recommend this company.

Hyde did a good job. Apology from me for Being sick and acting out. Have serious illness and on new medication. No excuse but my sad fact. Hyde Came right away When AC broke down and fixed it. Good people.

Very polite, Nick told me everything he was going to do ahead of time. I was very happy and pleased. He even arrived 2 hours ahead of time which was great for me.

The service rep was very personable and helpful. The inspection was part of a new AC, heating, and hot water tank package purchased a year ago. Hydes have been very prompt and meticulous in following the inspection schedule. very pleased with the original installation and now the follow-up service.

Been using Hydes since we moved into our home in 2016. They've done major electrical upgrades (Genrator hookup and car charging system), relocated two A/C units to make room for a new pool, and most recently had two Platnium series systems installed (3 and 4 Ton units) . From the early planning phase, and throughout the project completion, Mike Hydes was there. Since this was my first experience with inverter style (variable speed) units, I wanted to see and more importantly hear, the units. As it turned out, they were using these same systems at their factory/headquaters location in Indio. We spent about an hour or so going through the systems and features. He had a very well trained/experienced field engineer (Jonathan) come down to the house before and after the installation to determine filtering requirements (great for allergies), tonnage, etc. Jonathan even followed up after the 2-day installation period and setup the remote sensors, and fine-turning of the main thermostats.
And I almost forgot to mention that Jonathan came by before the start of the job with a portable A/C unit which he installed in the Master Bedroom, just in case we needed it during the down time while swapping out the units.
The installers, Joe and Frank were professional and cleaned up at the end of each day.
I would not hesitate to call on Hydes and would highly recommend them to family and friends!
