I love the people that run this company, Stacie Z. Is an amazing Manager, she offers excellent customer service with a smile. She goes above and beyond to make sure you are being valued as a customer.

We've been working with A Plus Heating & Air for years. We do the HERS Test inspection after their installations are completed. I must say that A Plus is one of our top clients. They do a fantastic job on their installs and they always pass their HERS test inspections. Their customers are always in a great mood when we come for inspection and always have nice things to say about A Plus. We highly recommend them to any homeowner looking for HVAC replacement!

We were referred to the company by Costco and they were amazing in every way possible. I inputted a request online for a quote on a Friday afternoon, received a call to schedule an appointment within an hour, and Craig arrived Saturday afternoon.
After discussing our needs, we went with a 4-ton split ductless system. The installers were extremely professional, cleaned up after themselves, and made sure I knew how to work my new unit before leaving.
Lastly, the ladies in the office were always kind and helpful with getting my city's inspection and permit signed.
Thanks A Plus for helping make our home a little bit more comfortable.

Live in Huntington Beach and requested an in-person quote last week for new A/C and possible furnace replacement. The representative came over and was nice, spending over 90 minutes explaining everything about the process and what we would need. Gave us a price and said if we signed today, it would be $700 off. I felt that was a bit odd and was almost like a high pressure sales tactic. I said we would think about. We then got an email the next day, Christmas Eve, where the representative said he made a miscalculation on the quote (in our favor), but said he would honor the price he put in writing. Then, on Christmas day, we received another email where he said the price was going to have to reflect the new calculation, being approximately $2,400 ABOVE what he said 2 days prior in person. "good faith" mistake or not, the inconsistency of agreeing to accept the written quote then changing his mind a day later, ON CHRISTMAS, is very concerning.

Staci and her crew are professional, courteous, and thorough in the process of purchase and install of a new HVAC system completed a year ago. This review is most overdue but have to say that Staci truly kept me in the loop throughout the project and followed up with any and all concerns along the way. Very prompt in response time and customer service driven. Thank you.

WARNING, CAUTION to anyone even thinking about using this company! Their salespeople talk a good talk but do not listen to the customers requirements! They will communicate, but with no intention of solving any issues. Have bought Lennox AC products in the past from another company in another area with NO problems. Don’t know if our issues are company or product deficiencies or both. Have called Lennox directly and they say we have to handle problems through this company. NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER

Another Costco installation. I've written Costco's corporate to encourage them to drop A+ as a contractor/installer for Costco's Lennox Heat/AC system.
If you purchase a Lennox system from Costco, be assured its a great deal for an awesome product. Buying from Costco is wise cuz you can use your card and get 2% return, plus the guarantee is unbeatable. But if they say that A+ is the contractor to install it... run for the hills, or at least find another Costco in your area who doesn't use A+ as the contractor.

They installed the unit 5 months ago in our rental which was empty for renovation before new tenants moved in. They pulled a city permit - which you will have to pay for - $350. They could have arranged for the inspection while the rental was empty but they waited until the 5th mo. of a 6 mo. permit. Tenants had to be bothered and I had to take time off of work to open the unit and remain. The inspection didn't pass because of A+'s shoddy workmanship. Ducts were leaking air into the attic.
Another inspection was scheduled AGAIN but was told by A+ it'd be in tandem with the inspector and an A+ guy, to be sure the repair was done efficiently. The inspector showed up on time -- A+ didn't show for 2 HOURS, and only AFTER I called their office and our sales rep to get them to send someone as promised. I only got "sorry"s from the office and how they were minus one guy, bla bla bla, but no offer of a discount in me having to make 2 phone calls to A+ to schedule and manage their appointments with customers (me) who have JOBS to get to while they wait for A+! Maybe they could have even CALLED me and the inspector ahead of time and mention their tardiness so we can plan our expensive day accordingly! Their thoughtlessness was stunning.

The 2nd inspection finally passed after they spent 4 minutes reapplying caulking properly around the ducts they installed.
FOUR MINUTES to do it the right way!!!! Unbelievable. That's all they had to apply to the job correctly the first time!
In my world, time is money. We may have saved $ at Costco for an excellent product, but A+ cost us more money in the long run.

To summarize: Costco, good; Lennox, good; A+, bad.
For a Heat/AC installer, look for someone else.

To prove my fairness and truth in this review, I'll offer that Steve, our salesman and Angel in the office are very friendly and professional, but the rest of that A+ office is a freakin' mess.

I have to provide customers of an update today. It's been one year since my unit was installed. I can thank Tarcisio Barragan. I scheduled a call for him to come out to my home and he kept his word from one year ago. He came out to make sure everything was working and checked the freon and it was good. I heard a clicking noise and I was afraid of a fire starting in the attic and I'd never had that clicking noise in 14 years. It wound up being the filter in the hallway. I have two large sponges to keep it from being pulled up and making noise, but for some reason this year, there was a gap and when it was settling, it was making a clicking nose. I love my Honeywell app and wifi thermostat. I use it constantly--in bed when it gets too hot, in my office while I'm working and even while I watch t.v. You have to make sure and get a wifi thermostat!

The 16 SEER TRANE with R44 freon unit still isn't as cold as my older unit with the R22 freon and my electric bill is actually higher than my old 10 SEER unit, but I commend Tarcisio for being a stellar guy and keeping his word and checking things out to make sure everything is working well. I will be using them for the annual maintenance in case anything happens during the warranty period to make sure it's taken care of properly.

I told him without him asking, that I was going to raise my review because he's a valuable commodity for this company and I, as a consumer, greatly appreciate it.

-----------------
I couldn't have found a worse company to rip me off in all the companies on the planet. Randy Thompson, the General Manager, came out to my neighbor's home to give her a quote on the 4th of July weekend. I happened to be over her house and she told me they were coming and my a/c unit worked fine after 13 years, but it cost me $550 a month to run it in the summertime.

I also made CERTAIN to tell him that the two front rooms of my home have never gotten cold enough and don't get enough flow. He again, GUARANTEED me that this 120,000 BTU unit would give me more air flow to the two front rooms than my 90,000 BTU unit. He said the builder never put in a large enough size for my single story, 2,100 sq ft home and this would fix that problem I've had all these years. Sold! 50% less electric bill and now I'll have flow and cold air to rooms I needed for 13 years!

Plus, he said this unit was normally $14,000. Sounds like a good deal, right? I signed all his loan paperwork to see if I would qualify because I didn't have a lot of money in the bank and told him this was a big expense for me right now.

Fast forward to the project manager, Tarcisio Barragan. He came out to look at my home before the installation and he told me I would also get more flow to the front rooms and said everything Randy said. He said I would save a lot on my electric bill as well. He scheduled the installation.

The installation guy that came told me he would not start any work until I signed the contract. I said that wasn't right, because I have to READ IT. He said then they will have to come back another day because they are on a schedule and need to begin right now. I wasn't comfortable but because my neighbor told me this company came to her through the electric company, I trusted them and didn't even check online reviews. BIG MISTAKE!!! So I signed it and only then would they start the work.

I called very upset and Tarcisio came out and tested it to make sure it had 10 lbs. of coolant. It only had 9, so he added more. He said they wait after an install and add coolant later, but no one called me after a week--I had to call them.

I just had them come out and they were amazing. They were used as a "second opinion" because of the first company(which was TERRIBLE, ATLAS HVAC). They searched and found the problem immediately. The service man that came out, named Ehab, was great!! I so appreciate his diligence in finding the problem. I would absolutely recommend them and use them again!!

Costco installation. Felt that it was overpriced for two units almost 34K. Over promised the two requested ducts and didn't get them. Felt for the price they would have installed them why I was willing to pay that price. Be ready to clean up some mess after they finish.
