Great team of people that came and installed a whole new HVAC system. Did not oversell the system, only installed what was efficient and needed for my home situation. Highly recommend JPM, they worked with minimal interruption to our home routine.

As always, JPM Heating & Air was very prompt and fixed the problem. We only had to live without A/C for 3 business hours! Thank you for coming out right away! I’d recommend you to anyone.

Positive experience start to finish.

1. My old AC went out - blew a capacitor. Tried calling ~ 15 different places over the weekend to locate a spare part to see if that would fix it. JPM was the ONLY one who called back to see if they could help. MeanwhileI had Amazon’d one, which was working. JPM simply said “well call us back if we can help.” Within 24 hours, it blew as well.

2. After a terrible service call with a different company who was local to Escondido, I called JPM. I spoke to the owner, Jason, who did me a favor - swung by and took a look on his way to another job in Vista. He was prompt, did about 5 seconds of troubleshooting, and showed me how he was able to isolate the problem to the compressor. No sales pitch, I simply needed a new compressor - which meant a new outside unit and air handler to replace my 30 year old Carrier setup.

3. Jason was no nonsense in his recommendation - a Bryant unit made by the same company as Carrier, but a more cost effective product at the same level of quality. He never tried to push me into a higher dollar unit (like ASI had done at my last house), but explained to me to me the other options after I insisted on at least hearing about them. I ended up following his recommendation on the 14 seer “Camry” of ACs.

4. The install was scheduled as soon as they had availability - 1 week out, and the crew was to show up somewhere around 7AM. It was nearing the end of summer. I’m sure this timeline was more than reasonable.

5. The crew - Manny and Ernesto arrived almost right at 7AM (its impressive when people do what they say they’re going to do). They went right to work, worked efficiently, and had the whole thing done by 11:30AM. I went over some of the details, and was impressed with how well they had sealed everything - using tape, mastik, insulation, UV resistant tape outdoors, etc. They did a way better job than anything I’ve seen prior.

In summary:
Businesses of all types would do well to study Jason’s operation.

From a customer service perspective - it’s top notch. He set up the phone system to carry over to his personal line in case things are tied up, drove clear across San Diego County the same day of the initial call (Took him an hour or 2!), helped me understand the technicalities I was interested in - honestly I can’t find any constructive criticism or I’d leave it.

From a product perspective - the equipment looks great and well made. The outdoor unit is surprisingly quiet and they taken care of any air gaps that weren’t built into the air handler. Time will tell, but my impression is it’s a very good product.

Installation wise - Jason (and the crew) prided themselves on having the right tools. Manny and Ernesto were awesome. There are sound reasons they will continue delivering high quality installations (which is important!). They understand the value of process, checklists, and the right measurements to verify the work being done.

Honestly, you don’t need to waste your time getting another estimate or opinion. But if it makes you feel better, go for it!

Very knowledgeable, fast and efficient. Jason really knows his stuff. Gave me several tips to keep the system healthy. He offered options that others over the years have not offered. I will be calling them in the future. Big Thanks

Would highly recommend JPM Heating & Air Inc. Did a little calling around and most places were about a one to two week wait time. JPM schedule me, got me a appointment the very next day and fixed my central air same day.
No more baking in the house with a box fan .

JPM is incredible! My two year old A/C unit was not working properly last week during the beginning of this heat wave. My home is in LaCosta/Carlsbad area. Our home is also our office(s). JPM went above and beyond! Jason and his team are a great example of what a company should be. Great communication, great customer service and very fairly priced.
I’m so glad we called JPM! If you need any help with heating or a/c, JPM should be your first call!.

Furnace went out during the recent cold spell and Jason was right out to diagnose the problem. We ended up needing an entire new furnace, and JPM's bid was much lower than the closest competitor. They rearranged the schedule so a technician was free on a Saturday and the whole job was done in just a couple of hours with no weekend premium! Great service, friendly people, low prices - what more could you ask for?!!

We are trying to get a house ready for sale and wouldn't you know it, the air conditioning conks out. We called JPM and unfortunately (or fortunately) because the office manager was on another call, mine was forwarded to a cell phone. But, on the other end, was the owner Jason and because he was on the road and couldn't really talk, he suggested I call the office back in a few minutes and speak with Christie (hopefully spelled correctly) but he thought that he could have someone out today!

I called the office and Christie was very, very helpful and said she could have some to the house by 2 PM that day and that the technician would call before arrival.

To my amazement, Bowen called right away and said he could be at the house just after noon! Wow!!

Bowen arrived, checked things out and found that it was a bad condensate pump and drain line and all in all, not too big a deal. Bowen will be sending an official estimate to us on Monday and we might just have things fixed by Tuesday.

Bowen was very professional and if he, Jason and Christie are any example of what to expect from JPM, I'm excited to write this review. Of course, we'll update the review after completion of the work. :-)

I'm not complete yet but I needed a quick assessment of my AC and a repair estimate and they delivered nothing short of greatness. They were quick, professional, and fair. I hope we are able to choose them to do the work. .

I appreciated the prompt service call and responsiveness. I felt Jason is an experienced professional and was straight about the service. Highly recommend and will be doing business with him again.
