Cano Heating & Air Conditioning

I recently had an AC unit installed in my home by Cano Heating and Air. Javier was very quick to respond while also to come out and give me a reasonable quote less than his competitors which didn't come at the cost of quality to work or materials. His team was very professional, courteous and punctual. I would highly recommend his services to anyone and if I have any issues in the future I will absolutely be giving Javier a call!

Calling a professional is always frightening but I'm glad I found Cano heating and air conditioning! I found their integrity and quality of work to be stellar! Javier walked me through everything he found wrong with my AC and how it would need to be properly repaired. I highly recommend this company and will call them again if i have any future issues.

Absolutely AMAZING professionalism and service! Hands down, Javier Cano and his family owned air conditioning and heating business is now my go to company for all AC/heating needs! I did SEVERAL HOURS of research and had 6 companies over a 7 day period provide me with estimates for air and heating replacement. Javier’s warranties, price, and the quality of the AC system were unbeatable! What sealed our decision to choose him was the strong work ethics and values he showed during his assessment. So happy we went with him- his attention to detail during installation- simply amazing! Floors were covered from the front door to the attic! He was here for a full day taking out the old system and making sure the new system is ready to pass Chula Vista permit inspection tomorrow! Even offered to get and install new air filters for us and went so far as to clean the vents! Thanks so much, Javier- you and your sons- Nate and Gene were AWESOME!

At first I called "the white glove guys" who tried to push me into replacing my AC unit for $12k. Cano came out and expertly repaired my equipment for a fraction of the cost. He explained exactly what the problem was and how he was fixing it.

Javier and his team did an amazing job with installing our AC system! I was worried while getting some quotes, you just feel like some companies are trying to upsell you on things you don’t need. With Cano I felt right away that he was professional and honest, and knew what he was talking about ! His team was able to come very soon and install our new AC unit, as well as fix several complicated issues with our thermostat and heater. This pregnant mama was so happy to have nice cool AC just in time for the next heatwave! I feel confident in this company and their warranty policy, and I know that I can count on them in the future! I had a number of companies come and give me quotes for my new air conditioner, but I chose Cano because of Javier's extensive knowledge and his integrity in letting me know what I needed and what I didn't need to complete the job. The other companies didn't do that. As Javier said, it isn't as much about the unit as it is about the people installing it. He sent Ramiro and Gene to do the work and it was obvious they knew what they were doing. The got the work done quickly and I am very happy with my unit. This company takes pride in their work, they clean up after themselves, and they charge a decent rate. I highly recommend them!

Set up an estimate with Cano Heating and Air after reading reviews to get a new more efficient air conditioner for our home in Eastlake..

After the home and system inspection, we agreed on a price for a complete HVAC system replacement with Lennox Merit equipment.

Javier later emailed stating he wasn't making enough profit for a one day job at 1400 bucks and reneged on the contract, boosting the price 500 bucks for the same job.....

I called him on it, asking if he was going to honor the original agreement.

He said he would, then told me the equipment wasn't in stock on the morning of the install, and was back ordered from Lennox.

I called Lennox to find out he isn't an authorized dealer.......

I gave Javier another chance and a new agreement was made for a Trane XR17 system. Javier told me the items were in stock and ready to go. He emailed "Tuesday" for the install.

On the morning of the install, with the house and attic all rearranged, he didnt show up or call and no email to cancel or let me know why he didn't do the job...

Very poor treatment from Javier Cano, he didn't honor his word or the contracts I signed and returned.

Look elsewhere for HVAC if you want someone who honors his word.

I cannot say enough about Cano Heating and Air Conditioning – Javier Cano is one of those rare individuals that takes great pride in his work. He not only has integrity with his work, but also demonstrates work ethics and professionalism that seem to be hard to find in service representatives nowadays.

I was completely impressed with the work completed, the explanation of repairs, the knowledge, and reasonable prices compared to other companies I have used in the past. Javier also called when he was about 10 minutes out from arriving at our home. I highly recommend Cano Heating and Air Conditioning.
