I wanted to thank #metzaircontrol for giving a great overall experience. Not only was my install smooth but during these crazy times our rep followed all guidelines wearing a mask, gloves and bootie shoes. Jorge was very knowledgeable in his work and answered all my questions that I had. I would highly recommend #metzaircontrol. Thank you again for making me feel confident about my install and showing me all different options that best fit my needs.

Our 28 year-old A/C and heater unit was not working sufficiently and was in need of replacing. I called 3 highly rated A/C companies that service the Chino area; Metz Air Control being one of the three. Jon Metz came to our home to inspect the old unit and provide us with a couple of pricing options for a new full system.
We decided to go with Metz Air because of the pricing and over all value with Jon's quote. I also explained to Jon that we were expecting family members from out-of-state with their two dogs and I was hoping to get my old system to provide us with some cool air until it was convenient to install the new unit. Jon came out again and doctored up our old unit so that we could get some much needed comfort.
On the day of the install Jon and the crew arrived at 8:00am just like they said they would. We were introduced to Chris and Dylan who would be installing the new system. Jon showed up to go over a few concerns we had and then Chris and Dylan got to work.
I was totally impressed with the systematic and organized way they went about their work. They showed the same level of respect for our home as we do; and that means a lot. All throughout the installation they were informative and professional. If I had a question they would gladly take the time to answer it and make sure I was satisfied with the work being performed. The final install looked like a work of art. I find myself out in the garage and side yard admiring a well built Trane unit and the way it was installed.
The entire transaction starting from the first meeting with Jon, to some dealings with the ladies in the office via phone, to our interaction with Chris and Dylan on the installation, was a pleasant experience.
We love supporting a family-owned local business. We will definitely be recommending Metz Air Control.

My husband, two year old, and I recently moved into a new home within the area.
With the upcoming rising temps, as well as health concerns amidst COVID and any potential new variations...reliable AC, as well as an iron-clad air filtration system throughout my home were absolute MUSTS.
Upon initial consultation with Metz, until the job completion, the process was absolutely seamless! I mostly spoke with Meem- let me tell you, this young lady has such a steadfast, lovely personality- and not to mention a delightful sense of humor. As a new mom and homeowner my mind is always all over the place, but she was nothing but patient with me!
Upon installation, their staff fully followed CDC protocol- masks always on, social distancing as much as possible, as well as frequent sanitation.
Until COVID is nonexistent, my motto is that I’d always rather be safe than sorry. I am beyond grateful that this team was so on the same page with myself and my little family! :)
My husband and I are complete newcomers to this area and all I can say is that we struck GOLD with Metz. We 1000% look forward to working with them on all of our future HVAC projects!

I had explained that my AC unit was working intermittently. Randomly shutting off, while the thermostat was still showing that it was cooling. The technician looked at the physical outside unit, making several calls, and looking like he couldn't figure out the problem (of course it was functioning at the time he came). He came into house and asked a bunch of questions about the problem, setting as he couldn't see any issues and it was working - totally get it. But he kept asking the same questions, I kept answering the same answers. I told him when it stopped working, nothing was on at all. He did he didn't know if it was the thermostat or the fan up in the attic. When I asked if he wanted to go take a look in the attic, he did no - he didn't know what he was looking for? I didn't understand why he wouldn't just go take a look. But he was noticeably frustrated that there was no evident issue. I told him that's why we called. He said he guessed it was the thermostat? To further take a look, he wanted to remove the unit off the wall. He pried it off the wall before realizing it detached, causing the anchor to yank out of the wall, and tons of drywall fragments to fall on my floor. He basically was like Oops, and continued to look at the unit. He had no idea what the problem was, so said he thinks it was a scheduling issue with the thermostat? I said we've lived here for 2.5yrs, never had an issue... why now. He said he didn't know. I asked why it would shut off if it was a schedule, but still show like it was on and trying to cool while the house got hot...he said he didn't know, I needed to take a video or picture of the problem? I told him there wasn't anything to video? He said he was going to reset my schedule (that we never set anyway) because he was trying to find some kind of solution but he didn't know the problem. I could tell he was frustrated and wasn't overly courteous with me - I told him I understood that we both didn't know why this malfunction was happening, which is why I called. No solution. He went to charge me and asked for $88, when I was told by the office person it would be $77. He was like, oh they told you that? And changed it to $77. I had to ask for my receipt so I had some sort of accounting of the money being taken since he just took my credit card and was typing into his phone. I guess I was frustrated by not having any results, the somewhat condescending manner in which the tech spoke to me, the difference in price quoting, and the brutish was he handled my equipment. It wasn't a horrible experience, but I've definitely dealt with better AC technicians who were actually willing to investigate all my equipment to try and diagnose an issue.
