Could be the worse plumbing business ever…
We have been trying to get our hot water heater replaced since last July’22 (currently March’23).They tried to install in December but they brought the wrong unit. When we try to call them. No one answers and the Voicemail is full. That is a bad sign for a business…:

Absolutely the worst plumber in the world. This company builds your card, comes out multiple times to look at the same problem. Makes you wait weeks on end for an answer. Never response. Most of all fraudulently bills for an appointment they’ve never completed. Awful and what a con company terrible

I have guest in the house and they called to say the toilet was not flushing. I have used their service before and one thing I’m happy to say is I can count on them. We need this toilet thing fixed right away and they sent their tech out the following day as promised. Thank goodness it was not an emergency but when life throws a surprise at you, the one thing I want is the assurance that they will take care of it.
A happy ending. A toilet repairs done! And I’m of course very happy. The tech is Arturo. He is nice and professional.

Jesus from Castroville Plumbing was the plumber who came to our house after we submitted a request through our home warranty company. He diagnosed the problem, a pin hole leak in a copper pipe under our house, and made the repair very quickly. I looked at the repair afterwards and it was expertly done. He cleaned up the old pipe he cut out and removed other debris from the repair. We would recommend Castroville Plumbing for any plumbing work you need completed. Thank you Jesus!

My experience with this company has been disastrous. My order was assigned to them through my American Home Shield (AHS) home warrant. I have a dripping faucet in the bathtub.
-They scheduled me for 5 days after I called them, which is fine.
-But it was a no show. When I called them, I have been lied to. I have been told there was a technician 10 minute-away from my home, who was on the way. 3 hours later, there was noone.
-When I called back, they already vacated the office.
-I had to call emergency because the dripping was getting worse than the previous week, and it could potentially become an emergency if the bathtub get clogged. Emergency was finally able to find a technician, whom they sent 2 hours later.
- He showed up and assessed the situation, but could only report it to his office that will report it to AHS, which is going to determine if the repair will be done.
-The repair has finally been authorized. And I had to call them to let them know it is. Now they want to schedule me for next week. I explained them, I cannot wait that long. I was told I have to accept it to be done by the end of next week or there will be no service. Then, I recalled them how unprofessional it was to be so neglectful to a customer need. Then, I was reminded I cannot tell them how to do their job. "Do you want the service or not? We are going to take your order off our list. We are not servicing you" (Customer representative and Manager). Customer representative claimed I yelled at her. I corrected and said I am voicing my frustration, and asked her to produce the record of our conversation.
-I felt it like a burden off my shoulder when I went to my warrantee account and saw that my order was removed.
-I called AHS and requested another contractor or I would cancel my warrantee. Their customer service was so professional. They listened carefully and documented everything. They contacted CP&S and told me that they are reporting everything to the owner and that my order will be taken care of asap. They said I would hear from CP&S. It is a pain to have to call them and find out if they would do it faster. Anyway, I told AHS never to assign me that contractor again. If it happens them, I am gone from AHS too. Stay away from incompetence and lies. If you need reliable, ethic-bound and professional service, stay away from Castroville Plumbing & Heating. May be they happened to hire some poor quality staff lately who are hurting the business. They are thinking "It's nothing. It's only one customer left. The day they realize, it is too late. We had a leak from the drain from our kitchen sink. The leak was behind and in our cabinets. They found it and repaired it. Excellent job.
