The consultation on HVAC installation was good. The representative answered all of our questions and we learned a lot. However, in comparison with other companies, Aarvaks failed to provide an itemized estimate claiming that they "have to follow (CA) State guidelines/rules". Not sure which guidelines/rules prevent a privately owned company from providing a detailed quote. I suspect there simply no such guidelines or rules. Regardless, we ultimately decided to hire another company who were much more transparent and cooperative (in fact out of 6 companies that we received estimates from, Aarvaks was the only one what provided us with only a lumpsum estimate).
Giving them a 4 star review because the representative seemed knowledgeable and over all scheduling of the visit was alright and we received an estimate pretty promptly. Cant's speak of their work obviously.

We had an issue with extreme excess condensation in our A/C unit. The technician arrived today and spent well over 4 hours resolving the issue and performing maintenance, he was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. When the time arrived for the invoice this too was pleasant, a most fair price. This is a wonderful locally owned company, glad we called them.

These guys are an absolute joy to work with and I wouldn’t use anyone else. They are communicative, accommodating, knowledgable, and professional. I have hired them for at least the last 15 years.
