Temperature Control, Inc. A/C & Heating - Tucson, AZ

It's been almost one year since Temperature Control rescued my family after discovering a latent defect in my first home. They fixed it for FREE as I had no money left.
They are my first choice when noticing things out of sorts in the house (stemming from the scumbag I bought it from).
I can't put into words my deep gratitude for their service and integrity in our times of need. Hats off to Temperature Control!

Manuel Valdez did a great job replacing my Pressure Regulator Value. He was on time and diagnosed the problem and finished the job within 30 minutes. Manuel was very knowledgeable and a professional. I would recommend Temperature Control if you needed work completed fast knowledgeable and professional.

The purpose of my review is to shine the spotlight on the owner and employees of Temperature Control, Inc.

As a disabled Gulf War veteran, when I receive great service from a company whose employees are dedicated to helping their customers, I am compelled to share my observations.

Upon having decided to replace our home’s HVAC units, my wife and I began the process of calling the many air conditioning and heating enterprises in the Tucson area. Based upon our initial impressions of those with whom we spoke at Temperature Control, Inc., we chose this company to replace and service our units. Furthermore, the favorable online reviews we had read about Temperature Control, Inc. validated our decision.

Over the course of the past one and a half years, every employee at Temperature Control, Inc. has consistently provided us with exceptional customer service. Those who have far exceeded our expectations are Laura Perin, Alex Wickstrom and Shawn Davis, all of whom are consummate professionals. Laura, Alex and Shawn are members of a team of dedicated employees whose exemplary customer service, initiative, dedication and professionalism have earned our highest regard and gratitude.

Moreover, the owner also deserves credit for having chosen excellent individuals and trained them to the highest standards.

There are very good heating and air conditioning companies in Tucson, however, my wife and I believe Temperature Control, Inc., which also provides superb electrical and plumbing services, has earned the title of “Best Air Conditioning, Heating, Electrical and Plumbing Company.”

I received an unsolicited "free" AC inspection from HVAC contractor Temperature Control. I was suspicious, so I checked and they have a high BBB rating. I like free, so I consented to the inspection. The tech had all kinds of high tech equipment that showed Freon levels on his smart phone and an electronic sniffer to detect Freon leaks.

He convinced me that I had a Freon leak in my coils and I had 3 choices:

1. Put in some leak sealant and new Freon. This would cost me about $1,365 and probably wouldn't work.
2. Put in new coils, if he could even find the coils for my old (26 years) unit at an estimated cost of $2,900 to $3,900.
3. Buy a new unit for about $10,000.

I concluded that I was going to have to buy a new unit because who would want to invest $2,900 to $3,900 into a unit that was far past its expected lifetime (18 years).

The good news is that we have an excellent home warranty provider 2-10 that covers up to $2,000 toward the new unit. They sent out a tech ($85) to check out the unit. The tech did a thorough analysis and said that there was no Freon leak and that the air conditioner was working perfectly!!

I filed a complaint with BBB to tell them to reconsider their high rating of these con artists!!

These guys are legit. I love the workers of this company--they're always hard working, polite and very focused. I don't care if they're installing AC units or just giving service. We love them all and appreciate them. They communicate well and do a good job.

I use Temp control both in my work (managing properties) as well as my home and they've been great! Very reliable, solid quality work and are always so nice to work with. Whether they call me or I call them, they are always friendly and willing. Maira is especially wonderful and knows how to make a customer feel valued! I've also worked with Marla and Jason, who are are fantastic, as well as the techs I've worked with. They have an excellent team over there!

Jeremy Oliver from temperature control’s Oro Valley office came out and took a look at my AC and now everything is running great! He was extremely professional, very down to earth, and an all around good guy. 10/10 recommend Jeremy! Thank you so much!

Temp Control installed my ac system, repaired an electrical problem not of their own making, performed twice yearly inspection of the ac. They are professional and friendly and dedicated to doing the job perfectly. The techs texted when they were on their way to my house and were on time. They were clean and neat and cleaned up when done. The office staff was polite friendly and efficient. I will always call Temp Control first when I have any problem in the house.

After I had my last experience with the plumber, Saul was his name, He was GREAT! We had our kitchen sink clogged and he came over to snake it! He was on time, awesome! He listened to the snake… knew what it sounded like if it got something, he knew if he had to do it again or if the clog was gone! Awesome job with multiple experience with Temperature Control, from our AC unit to the plumbing services. Thank you Saul for my last visit! Great job!

Service call on a 20-year old AC unit was within 5 hours when I contacted Temperature Control. Installation was within 2 days. I knew I was on borrowed time and can’t thank Jesus and the team enough for such fast and excellent service!!
