I had a great experience working with a Cummings Plumbing. Chris was able to arrive early and diagnosed the problem right away. He explained what the issue was and repaired it right away. Chris was very knowledgeable and courteous. I will definitely be using Cummings Plumbing again and will make sure to request Chris.

My water heater died on Sunday morning. I called the number on the website, and filled out the request for service on the website. Both said someone would get back to me soon. Nobody ever did. I drained the water heater.

Monday morning I called the main number and was told that someone could come between 5 and 7 p.m. I had a previous commitment, so took an appointment for 12-2:30 on Tuesday. After 2 on Tuesday I got a call saying they were backed up and it would be awhile. I got a call at 4, saying that the technician was leaving Tubac to come to my house. I asked if anyone was closer. Another technician was, and came over. He gave me the quotation and I asked if the water heater was in his truck. He said that the warehouse closes at 4, so he can’t get it until tomorrow. I should have been told those hours with the first appointment offer, which was after 5, so couldn’t include an installation. Erwin was assigned to come on Wednesday at 8:00. He and an assistant came and took care of everything in a couple of hours and the water heater works well.

I like the service, when it was finally done. But a bit more communication would make a big difference:

1. On both the website and appointment answering machine it should state that calls are only returned during work hours, if it’s not a 24 by 7 service. I kept waiting for a return call or text.
2. For any later appointments, whether the original appointment or an earlier one that was rescheduled, I should have been told that the installation couldn’t happen until the next day.
3. I’m accustomed to being called the day after a substantial purchase to ask if everything is working okay. This is just a courtesy call, but it gives me confidence that the business cares about my business. In this case, when I was scheduled, and rescheduled, and waited a long time, and was rescheduled, it would have made me feel better about the customer care. It didn’t feel like this was the same Cummings Plumbing advertised on TV.

I had a great experience with Cummings Plumbing and especially the technician who serviced my problem David B. The technician identified my problem and formulated a solution. He was decisive, explanatory, and competent. He offered the most affordable way to fix a slow leak I had on a pipe coming from my water heater. Another plumbing company quoted me 3x as much with a very overly complicated process that was both unnecessary and over priced. I was very pleased that David B. was fair, honest, and competent at his job. If Cummings continues to provide fair, quality service like this, then I will gladly continue being a customer. I highly recommend

I noticed Cummings also does electrical work so I called them to install a doorbell camera. The price was a little high but I’m not an electrician and wasn’t sure where to start. So Jimmy and another gentleman (I apologize I can’t remember his name) came over. Jimmy explained what needed to be done and gave me the quote. He did a great job and I greatly appreciate the work he did. Both guys were very friendly and professional. I asked a couple of questions about some other things and they helped me out with some tips. I would definitely refer them! Thank you gentlemen for the help!

Robert B. was on time. He was extremely professional, addressed my problem with my dishwasher, removed it from a very tight place, checked the line, it was open, advised me to have an appliance repair person check the filter in the washer. he did not charge me anything because he said he didn't fix anything.I was shocked at his kindness .He was here for over an hour at no charge. I will tell all my friends to call your Cummings Plumbing if they have a plumbing issue. Robert was a delightful young man. I hope you pay him well!!

I had an appointment for a service representative to come by between 5pm-7pm. At 6:15 I was notified that he was on his way. After no one showed up, I received an email asking how their service was. I contacted the office for further assistance and was told they would call me back in a few minutes. They never called back. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Very unprofessional

I called Cummings Plumbing on a Saturday morning to fix a standing clog in both kitchen sinks. I tried previously to contact another company who I had been using for a number of years. They wouldn’t even answer their phones. Tyler came out, on time, and actually a little bit early. The problem was diagnosed quickly. I was told what they were going to do and what the cost would be. Exactly what I was looking for. My expectations were exceeded, and I won’t hesitate to contact Cummings Plumbing again with any other issues.

Vincent and his partner did a great job. Took care of my cracked drain and replaced the valve and supply line for the toilet as well. Great guys!
