I feel bad for taking so long to write a good review about AAM! The management company that my landlord uses has AAM as their HVAC guys. The first time I spoke with them it was long after business hours but my Heater was broken and I was insistent that I wasn't going to spend the night cold! Typically, that would've been end of story but thankfully the people at AAM, are both professional and a gentleman, walked me through lighting my pilot light over the phone. Problem solved. Next, the air conditioner went out.....in July....in 100+ degree temps.....it was horribly miserable! Management company sends AAM out, and I felt so bad, it was BAKING where the tech was working! Not one complaint out of the tech and he had the new unit in quickly and working perfectly. Months later, the heater finally crapped out for good. AAM sent out another one of their guys. And again it was fixed quickly and properly. Currently I am in a rental and the property management company contracts AAM. When I am a homeowner again I will DEFINITELY call AAM for any HVAC work that comes up.
My home service insurance choose Advantage Air. They were very efficient, and the service person, James, was very polite and did a great job. I would recommend them to others.
Similar to the other reviewer, we had American Home Shield send Advantage Air Mechanical out to service our air conditioner last week. The guy spent 10 minutes looking at our machine, said the filter was dirty and the coolant was "a little low" and that we shouldn't have any more problems with it. Now the whole system is dead, and of course we can't get an answer out of Advantage. We have an infant in the house, and it's 90* in here. We've called repeatedly, and their claim of, "A real, live person will always be available to answer your call, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year" is obviously a lie.
Initial install was bad, so I called for a redo. Now, my less than a year old unit is broken. They installed a defective unit, and have been out 4 times to repair this piece of junk. Still no heat for over a month. They lack experienced technicians, parts arrive on a slow boat, good luck talking to anyone. Leave a message, and maybe you'll hear from them. Worst customer service ever! You might save money here, but you will not be happy living without heating or cooling.
I had an issue with my A/C in mid June, I went through American Home Shield and they sent Advantage out. Took two weeks to get them here the first time. The very next day my A/C went out again. I called them, set an appointment, the technician never came. Called them agian, set another appointment, but rain scared them away. Called, AGAIN, set another appointment. The technician came out, was here for 15 minutes and said, 'everything looks good, you shouldnt have anymore problems'. Three hours later, and my A/C went out AGAIN. They have an emergency hotline. They say there is always someone to speak with 24/7. WRONG! Called their emergency number four times today and nothing. No one to speak to, no technicians available. Their customer service is terrible, they speak as if they don't care, and no one has made attempts to get to the bottom of the issue. and I'm stuck with them for now. Ugh...
Had both HVAC units replaced as they were old and failing. One unit cooled fine, the other seemed to have a persistant problem undetected during 3 FU service calls. On the 4th, Daryl finally figured out the problem. Its fixed. Am happy with the performance - better cooling with decreased electrical use. Has been so warm this winter we are not heating yet.
James was an excellent technician... My landlord sent AAM to fix my furnace. He was very knowledgeable and informative. I don't only recommend AAM but ask for James he's awesome
Eric the technician came out and explained all the work that needed to be done. The price was very fair, and the work was done at a reasonable time frame. I was happy with the work done due to the fact that it is so hot here in Arizona.
