After 4 summers of AC problems I decided to get a complete new setup. Called Wolff Mechanical based on the reviews on different sites as well as the fact that they're a highly rated company on the Lennox website - Ryan showed up & went over all of the different options with me. He was able to get me something in my budget without any high pressure sales. I got more than I expected for a lot less than the other companies quoted. After a professional install with no problems, I can say I've got the coldest house in the Valley thanks to Wolff. Top notch service, product & warranty. Will refer to friends & family.

This note is long overdue, but I just wanted to thank Wolf Mechanical for fixing the issues we had with our Wine Room in January. Joey was extremely professional and took the time to explain to me the issues. I'm sure his recommendations extended the life of our current system. When I thought we were having problems las week, you sent Joey out to check out the system at no charge. He found I had the temperature control in the wrong spot and that moving it is the solution. It is so refreshing to find a business I can Trust.

Best quality service I could ask for. They have taken care of any and every issue that I have had even though those issues were due to poor design of my home. DJ was the last guy out and he took significant time adjusting my ventilation system for the most efficient performance. Thank you everyone at Wolff!

I had an employee named Jason come look at my unit, he said the unit was perfectly fine had some freeze build up, but was ready to go. I paid the $89 and he left but had to come back w/in a few hours because the unit stopped working again.

He told me what it was and said it would be $800 to fix it. I didn't have much faith in him after so I called and ask what would happen if he miss diagnosed the problem again, but they really could commit to anything, they also told me they cold not credit the $89 toward the total balance since Jason had to co.e back twice.

The turning point for me was when they refused to provide a breakdown of labor, parts and fees they were charging. So, I called around and I was being overcharged by over $400 I paid $350.

I have the benefit of having worked in the HVAC business many years ago, so I new what I expected from an HVAC company, and Wolff Mechanical has exceeded expectations. My experience with Wolff Mechanical started back in 2012 when I was looking for a company to completely replace my system and duct work. Of the 3 bids I had obtained, Wolff Mechanical was the only firm that I felt understood what I was looking for, and took the time to address my concerns. At my request they performed a heating/cooling, gain/loss, of my 1957 home. This was to insure that I was getting the correctly sized system for my home. I had a Trane 2 stage heat pump packaged unit installed, all new duct work, supply registers, and filter returns. This took about 4 days to install, and came complete with a 10yr parts, and labor, warranty. During the entire job their crew were courteous, and professional.
Jumping to November, 2016. I had called Wolff Mechanical to come out and do a "winter" service on my system. Trevor, the technician called me when he was about 10 minutes away to let me know he was on his way. When he arrived he asked me to turn on the heat. (as I had not yet turned it on for the season) It ran for about 3-4 minutes, then there was a loud noise of escaping air. The new evaporator coil that was replaced in June had a catastrophic failure in one of the joints. Now this appears to be a quality control issue for Trane, given this coil was only 3 1/2 months old, but that's another question I won't address here.
What is important is how Wolff Mechanical handled the situation. The technician advised me to call Wolff and speak with Dave S., he was the Retrofit Division Manager, and explain what happened and voice my concerns. I spent about a 1/2 hour on the phone with Dave. He was very considerate and listened to all of my concerns. He took charge of my situation and had a response for me within a day or so. Wolff Mechanical had to first coordinate with Trane as to what happened and how to address the problem. I received an email from Dave S. stating that Trane had agreed replace my entire unit not just repair it, and because the blower fan was running at the time of the rupture, Wolff Mechanical would have all of my duct work cleaned at their expense. I was soon contacted by Christine, the install coordinator. She notified me that their install engineer Lorenzo, would be out in the morning to check over the job site and take measurements to insure a proper re-install of the system for the following day. The install team, Albert and Zaid, arrived at 8:00am and began the removal of the old system, the crane arrived at 9:00, for the removal and the install of the new. It went smoothly. While they were wrapping up the install, I received a call from the duct cleaning company to schedule a date for the cleaning to take place. On 10th of Nov. I received a letter from Wolff Mechanical. In it contained a copy of the new Trane Limited Warranty, and notification that the product had been registered. With it came an invoice of all of the work that had been performed. And on that invoice was a statement of not only the Trane warranty which covers parts, but a statement that Wolff Mechanical would agree to 10yr labor warranty as well. So I'm back to where I started in 2012. New system, with 10yr parts and labor warranty. All courtesy of Wolff Mechanical's effort to keep me as a customer. I am absolutely impressed with how Wolff Mechanical handled this situation. I can only imagine the grief I would have gone through if this had been one of the other companies I had bids from back in 2012. I'm looking forward to a long and strong working relationship with Wolff Mechanical, and I would highly recommend that anyone reading this make Wolff Mechanical your HVAC service company. Don't leave them out of your own search for a quality HVAC company.

They were out within twelve hours or so of my initial call which was nice. But it felt as though the technician was upset at having to come out on a Sunday. When I went up to check on the unit I found three of the five cover mounting screws were missing. I found them scattered around the roof. Prompt yes, friendly and professional no. Sorry guys wish I could do better for you.

Fantastic, timely service. I'm so grateful to Wolff for making my family a priority and fixing our AC on one of the hottest days of the year so far.
Having very young children, the quick and effective resolution of our issue by Wolff will not soon be forgotten.
Very grateful!

I have been a loyal customer to them for almost 15 years now with both my businesses and my residential homes. I have probably spent over $150,000 with their company within those years and they just lost me as a customer for life time over $90. Their integrity and ethics have lowered immensely and I will never use them again.

While the technician was polite, he did a very superficial job. He did not clean the coils, which I had been told would be done. When I asked about it, he said it would be $200 extra. He finally went back on the roof and hosed them off, at my insistence, but did not chemically clean them, as I had expected, and was told would be done by the man who booked my appointment. He also checked boxes on the form saying he had completed all the items to be checked. But he did not check my air filter. I again insisted he do so, and he told me to change it but did not help me. I wonder what else he didn't check. When I asked about the superficial work, he said he thought it was just an SRP check given the price I was paying. Wolff was nice enough to honor the price I paid last time they did maintenance; it was in no way a reflection on the work that should have been performed. He also told me I needed a new capacitor, which Wolff has told me I needed for 2 yrs. They tell me "it is starting to go" without any specifics. Just "something you should replace." This technician said it would be $225 to replace, but I needed to replace the whole motor for $598 too. When I asked why, he said a new capacitor could blow the motor so both needed to be replaced, or they couldn't guarantee the work. My Trane is 7-8 yrs old. I don't believe it needs a new motor. If it did, it may still be under warranty. As for a capacitor, I looked up the part on the internet. It sells for between $8-15. Why $200 for a part that my handyman could replace? I will not be using Wolff again b/c I don't feel I got good or trustworthy service.

We had Gabe come out and look at our system. He went above and beyond what we expected and did a great job explaining the issues he saw and how to resolve them. He was friendly, courteous and answered all of our questions thoroughly. I would highly recommend Wolff and Gabe! Thank You.
