Stephen and Leigh installed a complete system for us (furnace and air). They were extremely knowledgeable, friendly, clean and prompt. The install (on a Saturday) went exactly as planned with no surprises or issues and they offered multiple options to pay.

We did have a slight mechanical issue about 3 months after the install. I texted them at 8pm and they were at my door by 9pm! Leigh fixed the issue and we got back to life.

Stephen and Leigh were professional, attentive, caring and helpful right from the first phone call to them. They traveled a long distance to our Payson property and showed great skill as they negotiated their way through multiple serious problems. They even took the time to help us with things that were Well outside the scope of the service call. They charged a fair price for their services. In short - the best home repair we have ever experienced.

Stephan and Leigh did a fantastic job to fix my a/c issues. Another company quoted around $4K to address the problems that I had. But I went for a second opinion and found these two trustworthy guys. They were able to fix the issue without replacing any existing parts. I'll be their lifetime customer moving on and will also recommend to my friends in need. Their quote is very nominal and they won't add any unnecessary additional stuff to jack up the price. Thank you guys for taking care of me when I was in urgent need!

I would highly recommend Greenwood Air! I primarily worked with Stephen. I had a difficult time with my warranty company but Stephen made sure the job got done once everything was ready to go. He always stayed in touch and always answered my phone calls on the 1st ring. Never did I feel like I was bothering him or his staff. They made me feel like my situation was priority in their books! Greenwood Air came out the same day I called them and fixed my AC! They were honest and fixed my unit instead of trying to sell me a new one. They showed me exactly what the problem was and took care of it. They were on time, clean and friendly. We will use them again in the future.

I'm not usually the type of person to use smaller, independent businesses for more expensive repairs. I've had poor experiences in the past so now I prefer companies with lots of history. When I wanted to replace my two aging AC units, I got several quotes from some of the leading HVAC companies in the area. The numbers ($$$) were all over the place and I didn't feel like any were really that competitive compared to the rest.

After hearing that I was looking for HVAC replacement, I had two friends at work recommend Greenwood Air (Stephen Greenwood). Both have had Stephen out for whole system replacements. Based solely off their recommendations, I called Greenwood Air out for a quote. His price was nearly two thousand dollars cheaper (for two complete units) than the cheapest quote I had received from the big-name companies AND the quote was for a more reputable brand and with better thermostats. This made me immediately hesitant to use him…that whole “you get what you pay for thing.” I checked back with my buddies again and they reassured me that all had gone well with their installs and Stephen had been very responsive, even after the install was complete. Their recommendations and my tight budget led me to choose Greenwood Air.

Stephen was right on time on install day and got to work. Don’t expect Stephen to show up in a fancy truck but don’t let that put you off either. I’m sure that, and other factors, help keep his overhead low and allow him to offer lower pricing. The install of two complete HVAC systems (attic/outdoor) took him and his assistant almost two days. These guys worked hard and I never felt like they were wasting time. After two days, I had two brand new Amana units to get me through these brutal valley summers. I’ve had the units installed for three months now and haven’t had a single issue.

Since life isn’t all sunshine and roses, there were a few things I think they could have done better. The removal and install of the attic units damaged the drywall around the access hatch. This is something that EVERY company warned me about when giving quotes. Stephen replaced/caulked the trim but I felt that they could have done a better job repairing things. I spent about an hour making some minor repairs to the drywall and repainting the area and all is well. There was also some additional cleanup work that I had to do in the attic and around the outside units picking up some bits and pieces leftover from the install…nothing crazy but details matter.

All in all, these were minor issues for the amount of money I saved by going with Greenwood Air. I have two new HVAC systems that are working great and an extra $2k in my pocket. Since these are the only complete system replacements I’ve had done, I have no basis to compare his work to others. Stephen seems to be an honest, friendly, no-pressure guy that’s out there making a living for his family. To me, the experience was almost like having a buddy doing the work for me. I respect that and would highly recommend that you give him a shout if you need HVAC work.

I recently needed a new AC unit. After thoroughly researching multiple companies, I chose three reputable companies for quotes. One company utilizes sales people to come out and give you the quote. The other two companies, including Greenwood, do not have sales people. What I noticed is the company that had the salesperson had the highest quote. Whenever there are sales people involved, you're not only paying for the unit in the labor, you're also paying the salesperson salary. Greenwood is a company of Integrity, honesty, really great guys who listen to their customer, do not try and sell you on something that you don't need or something that is more expensive just to make more money. Very impressed with the level of prompt service and professionalism throughout the entire process !! I highly recommend Greenwood Air.
