Friendly and polite young man showed up promptly... didn't have exact replacement fuse, nor did he have a replacement thermostat to offer... wanted $400+ to replace a thermostat on next visit (??!!) I bought exact replacement on Amazon for $40 and snapped on wall in less than a minute. He got me running with what he had on hand.
We had an issue with our air conditioner. Called AHR and they were out within an hour of our call. Chris Reeves, our technician, was Superman. It took him a few hours to repair the unit but he did so with a smile and with great care. A great guy to work with.
I have been an AHR customer for at least 10 years (or longer?), I believe. Once I find a home service company that is reliable, reasonably priced, honest, on time every time, professional and friendly, I hang onto them for dear life. That's what I discovered when AHR first started taking care of my HVAC system so long ago. I've never had an issue with the company and have always been impressed that, where other companies recommend unnecessary repairs and upgrades, AHR honestly apprises me of what is needed, what I can wait for, and what I'll likely never need. I had my semi-annual inspection of the HVAC system at my new home yesterday, and Justin (sorry if I got your name wrong - I'm awful with names!) reassured me that my system was in good working order, performed the maintenance, and even pointed out to me signs indicating that I might need a new water heater in the not too distant future -- and AHR doesn't even handle water heaters! In my opinion, you can't go wrong with Michael and the rest of the folks at AHR. (I read another review and realized I forgot to point out that yes, yesterday Justin also put on shoe protection before entering the house, which I appreciated with light beige carpeting throughout.)
Mike and Chris at AHR mechanical really came through for me and did an outstanding job. They were very processional from start to finish and even after. They really did a massive job even being short staffed, they were able to double up on work and finish right on time. I'm very impressed with the whole team, very honest and do great work. Anyone considering AC work in their home needs to talk with AHR and they will continue to get my recommendation moving forward. Thanks again to the whole AHR staff
Had the Fall/Winter check up on both our units yesterday. Mike was GREAT,before entering home he placed covers over his shoes, walked through the house looked at air returns asking me about each unit ( have we turned units to heat, did they heat, have we had any problems that we need to explain to him?) Was not in hurry to complete his work. Checked air flow, waited for both units to turn off at set temp. He hard taken picture of blower (unit was purchased from AHR in 2001). Explained he felt blower needed to be cleaned, gave cost up front. With out any pressure on his part, I agreed to have blower clean.Completed paper work in detail. AHR has been in business for 50 years, that says it ALL. AHR must have always treated their customers fairly.
An extremely competent and professional installation of a new AC unit. The installation team was on-time and performed the install with absolutely no issues. All at AHR seems technically competent, personable, and responsive. Well managed.

Adam was our technician. He was courteous, efficient and practiced all good COVID safety precautions. He explained everything and cleaned everything up when he was done.
