Hicken Air

We came home to a hot house the other day and immediately called Hicken Air. It was over 110 degrees outside. There was a little difficulty finding someone to come out that night, but Kyle came to the rescue. The fan and compressor were both unresponsive. Kyle found a spent fuse, then troubleshooted in the attic and outside and located a defect in the contactor. 10 minutes after finding the issue, we had cold air! We appreciate the quick response and dedication to solving the problem so we did not have to spend the night elsewhere.

Shawn was on time and a pleasure to have in our home. We have 4 dogs and he was great with them, even learned their names, and extremely knowledgeable about the A/C units and was able to help us brainstorm the best way to set up our units for efficiency. I would recommend Hicken Air to everyone. Thanks again Shawn!

We rent and have been having issues with our AC unit for the past couple of weeks as its been getting warmer. We have had now 3 appointments with Hicken air since our lease started to resolve the issues we've been having and each one has been late to arrive, if they arrive at all. When you call to confirm whether or not the technician is on their way you are usually hit with some lame excuse 'oh their truck was experiencing issues', or the one today 'they tried to contact you to let you know that they wouldn't be available until later the evening' which is 4+ hours from when the appointment had been set. It is clear that they take jobs from rental companies even if they do not have the staff to meet the need of the job, holding the customer hostage for a time that is more convenient for them. 1/3 times that we've had an appointment has the technician actually called me to let me know they are on their way but they still did not address the issue after leaving. I have a strong feeling that we are only getting this treatment because we are renters instead of owners, but I will be asking the leasing company to look for other providers moving forward.

Shawn and Forest were awesome! They very polite and kind. They Worked hard and fast. They showed up on time and were easy to work with. I’m very happy with my experience and will definitely use them again!

Shawn & Dylan did a great job for us! They came here for a new homeowner orientation and explained the thermostats, etc. While here, they noticed a problem with the heater and quickly repaired it. Both very pleasant and friendly while maintaining professionalism. Speaking with the Hicken reps on the phone - I noticed they were always very pleasant and friendly. I highly recommend Hicken for your HVAC needs!

Dylan was extremely helpful in our moving process. He was very mindful of our need for cool air given our move in the summer. He answered all questions and did not leave until we were satisfied with the results. Dylan was very personable and made what could have been a stressful situation a lot less stressful!
