I've known we needed a new unit for sometime now so doing research I came across these guys and had them on my radar when it came to getting a new ac unit. I was skeptical about it but after having a "traditional" ac company come out and price out a new unit I figured it was worth a try.
I work in facilities so I am very familiar with the hvac and how everything works and how its supposed to work, if you are not you definitely need to have someone you can trust do the job because they will take advantage.
Turns out the unit I had been looking at on the newacunit website was one of the units an ac company quoted me, and they wanted almost 2x what I would pay if I went thru newacunit. 2x as much for the same exact unit smh. Anyway the vendor that comes to your house will quote you "add ons" to the $1500 install cost but even if you do go with some of the add ons (some of them just make sense to do) like I did you will still end up saving money. I was happy with the installation it was well done, the only thing I did not like was that the tech that did the initial inspection quote a part he said I did not have which I did have it could of been mistake but then again....
Overall I am very happy with the whole process and how quick and easy it was, it is great to have an alternative to the very high cost of getting a new ac unit.

Easy to use and good customer service but they make it seem like you get a better deal than you actually will. They advertise lower prices than local companies but it works out to be about the same. When I ordered my unit the installation quote was $1,250. But, the people who install are local companies and they require you purchase additional parts and services. This increased the price to $3,105, after declining the optional services and parts it still came out to $2,100, $850 over the original quote which made the actual price the same as all the other local companies quotes. Good experience, and maybe I missed fine print somewhere but I wish they were more transparent about the installation pricing.

Just had my AC unit replaced and the experience was simple and fantastic pricing as well! Will definitely use again when the need arises.

Our old AC system had been working just fine, but it's a 2007 model pushing toward its end-of-life cycle for Tucson, AZ heat. Months ago, I decided to purchase a modern higher efficiency AC as a preventive measure rather than waiting for the old one to fail. So, with no immediate urgency, I had plenty of time to research for the best possible solution.

We received several proposals from HVAC contractors before I found the NewACunit company online. After being "conditioned" to believe I'd have to fork out a sizable investment, I was a bit shocked to see these guys providing upfront pricing that was thousands of dollars less!!

When I finally decided NewACunit was the way to go, I pulled the trigger and placed the order online. What a smooth and easy process. I spoke to Autumn, who set me up with a highly-rated installation company that promptly followed up to perform a site survey. Within three days, they were here and did an excellent job putting in the new system. AMAZING!!

I must add that the install company did advise several extra-cost upgrade components and services, some of which were absolute necessities and others that were (to me) no-brainer add-ons. I find it difficult to believe there can be many $1500 flat-rate install jobs happening out there. Nevertheless, even with the upgrade costs tacked on, I saved a significant amount of money (over 35%!!) on an outstanding AC system.

I recently bought our new system thru these people and the buying process was very easy, paid online, emails shortly after and had a tech out the next day for the inspection and unit was installed a few days later.

In the long run, we did save several thousand dollars over the next lowest quote from a local company. The only issue I had with newACunit was that the website stated the unit I bought came with an aux heat kit for my air handler, but when the contractor picked up my order, they claim it didn't and wanted to charge me for it. In the end, it was installed and it was left for them to work that out with newACunit.

As far as our "assigned contractor" I did run into a few issues with them. I understand this isn't directly related to newACunit, but since they pick the contractors for you, I feel it's relevant. When he showed up for the inspection, I asked if the unit would fit in the attic opening and if we could measure it, he so no need that it would fit... It didn't and we had to cut it larger the day on the install. Also, they sold me on a larger filter kit and line flush, but while discussing cost, I mentioned some of the costs were higher than the local companies, which he said he would give me a discount and dropped the price. What I didn't realize until later was he just deleted the filter upgrade and flush from the work order. They also called me the day of the installation to reschedule (it was raining) which I was okay with, so I went to work and they showed up an hr later anyways for the install. One of the 3 installers threw all the trash and leftover parts off into the back side of my attic instead of throwing it away, and they failed to install my overflow drain line and left it open on the attic floor.

I paid to have a local Hvac company come and and do a post installation inspection for my own peace of mind. That is how I knew about the drain issues. All in all, they installed the unit properly (other than drain) , just was a little upset on the professionalism.

I would still recommend newACunit as it's definitely a way to save money and the process was very simple.

I am extremely satisfied with our experience with these folks. We got a few bids from a few other AC Companies before hand. We even had old Melvin come out and his quote was twice what we paid in the end.

We got a 3.5 ton 16 SEER unit for our 1500 SF house. It's so quiet! We can't wait to see how much we will save on the power bill this summer!

The install in the attic was very challenging. It was really tight, but they got it up there. Our Contractor who did the install was amazing. They came when they said they would and everything went great!

My advice is to go for it and choose these folks. Why pay double?

I bought a Goodman 4-ton 18 SEER unit after discussing my needs for my home in El Mirage, Arizona. Smooth process and the best price anywhere. The installers, Farnsworth Heating and Plumbing did a perfect job! The installers were friendly, experienced, and did a neat job. Wonderful experience from purchase to installation. I highly recommend both companies. I bought it on Wednesday and it was installed on Thursday.

Great company and service. They were on time and did great professional work. They left the place clean and in good working order. Love my new A/C and the cold air it's producing!

We had a few quotes for AC replacement and this was by far the best value. Overall the process was very smooth and everything worked out for me. There are some drawbacks to the program that I didn't personally have an issue with.

1. Duct and plenum work that was included with the quotes from other companies were not included in the quote on the site. The install fee is a direct component swap, you'll likely have a few additional charges. For me, it still ended up being 1k+ cheaper than the lowest quote.
2. The contractors for install are chosen by the site with no way to vet them out beforehand. The install crew I worked with was great, but I could see this being a negative experience.

All in all we're glad we installed with this site.
