Home warranty company contracted condenser unit replacement to Aire1 LLC. Aire1 scheduled the replacement, and the technician arrived with the new unit, but not all the equipment needed. Asked me if I have a dolly. I didn't. He proceeded to drag out the brand-new unit from the truck by himself, struggling with it and managed to push it all the way to the location. After installation we found that the unit was dented. He showed surprise and said he did not notice it. Then he asked me if I have a step ladder he can use. He did the same man-handling on the old unit to take it away. Must be a very unsafe way to do it, and I was afraid he will hurt himself on my property. Home was not being cooled so I called back, then the company claimed the unit was dented before they picked up (apparently technician changed his story after leaving the house). Told me they came to the house and called me many times. No record of any call to my phone number. Later, refused to work on the issue saying I have to work with home warranty again. Very unreliable company :( I would give -5 stars if I could. I plan to raise a complaint with BBB about their unsafe practices and the likely responsibility in damaging the condenser unit.

I had an initially pleasant interaction with this company. The employees are friendly. They went 'above and beyond' trying to find a leak in my air system, knowing that the home warranty company that contracted out to them would pay for the new coil if they found a leak. The one technician they sent out spent almost 8 hours at my house before he finished up, after finding 3 pinhole leaks in my system. He put in the request to the home warranty company, and they approved. What I didn't know for a few days is that they also said that my repair would require $460 worth of "modifications" that weren't covered by the home warranty. My home warranty company said that its not uncommon for their to be some modification, and listed the items they said needed to be modified. I have seen my system, and knew that at least 2 of the 3 items that they said needed to be "modified" (the drain line and the supply plenum) did not need to be modified, so I questioned Aire1 about this, and demanded that they show me what had to be modified, and their answer was basically that they were not modifications, they just had to move and re-install these elements. By calling it a modification, they circumvented the home warranty from outright rejecting their claim, and allowing them to pass this cost on to me. Unfortunately, my home warranty company would not stand behind me on this issue, and I was forced to capitulate and agree to pay these guys their money, even though I knew it was a scam. So I wrote a yelp review (1 star), explaining as I have how they tried to EXTORT me for $460, and this got their attention, which prompted them to send me an email explaining that they need to do this work that wasn't covered by the home warranty, even though the home warranty covers "replacing the coil". I responded very professionally to their email telling them that my yelp review would remain, and that I would continue to recommend that no one use this company until the company showed better morals. They did not respond. Then the part finally came in, and it was shipped to this company. It took 4-5 days for it to get to this company (with my A/C still not working because they drained the freon because of the leak), they then told the warranty company this morning that they refused to do business with me. So now I had to restart the whole process. I'm certain they felt a little misplaced satisfaction thinking that this reaction would cause me a few more days of discomfort being without air. The joke was really on them however, because this forced the warranty company finally send out someone that knew what they were doing, and they came out today and within 3 hours had fixed my A/C without needing the replacement coil (by soldering the holes), and it was completely covered by the warranty company.
PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are EXTORTIONISTS and SCAMMERS, and don't really know what they are doing, and react CHILDISHLY to criticism, rather than trying to improve themselves.

I'd previously had some very inconsistent service from another HVAC company in the valley and decided to go with a different company this year by using my home warranty. I was assigned Aire1 and Jessie and Oswaldo were the technicians sent out to my house to do a seasonal tune-up and inspection. Both were very friendly and clearly explained what they would be doing.
Overall, the experience was excellent. They completed their work in a timely manner, explained the results, and didn't attempt any unnecessary upselling.
I looked forward to having Aire1 come back for my next seasonal tune-up!
