They did a great job. They fixed a complicated HVAC nightmare on my top floor and exceeded every expectation that I could possibly have.

Had a new HVAC installed today by Alex and Jamie. They were professional and friendly. They worked very hard and took time to explain everything they were doing. I so appreciated it. It was a great experience having them do the installation. I highly recommend Sentry Heating and Air.

First of all, I am a brand new customer and they were at my house within ONE HOUR of when I called about my AC. Then it just got better from there. This is legitimately the best interaction I've ever had with an AC repairperson. Cole is AMAZING. Clearly so smart, professional, THOROUGH, really went the extra mile for us to not be sweating in this Alabama heat. Ten out of ten would recommend Sentry.

Recent storms damaged the unit on our roof. Sentry was prompt in getting a service representative out to evaluate the damage, and it was determined that it could not be repaired.

The new unit was installed within a reasonable time, and the crew, including Jamie and Alex, were very professional. Additionally, they made sure that our work day was disrupted as little as possible. Great job.

If you are looking for quality and comfort in an heating/air conditioning system and installation; please give this company a chance. After 6 months of research and five quotes from different companies, we consider ourselves very fortunate to have selected Sentry. Simply stated, we do not believe there is a better deal out there if you are looking for quality and comfort in a system.

Having to replace not one, but two complete systems, we were extremely overwhelmed with the options available to us and approached our purchase with great caution. Our first contact with Sentry was Matt in sales. Matt took his time to help us understand the options available in terms we could understand. He was very good at asking us questions that would help determine what options would be appropriate for our needs. He always made sure we were comfortable and at ease in the decision-making process. It was a great relief being confident in our decisions and understand exactly what to expect from our purchase. As far as pricing goes, Matt was very good at presenting several options based upon our budget needs and carefully highlighted the differences in those options. We can not thank Matt enough for his time and care in the initial stages of this process.

As far as the installation, we can not say enough about Sentry. We were told to expect a lot and they delivered on quality! Our installers, Alex and Mark were terrific! Honestly, the best crew we have ever had at our house in the 15+ years as homeowners. Three things come to mind with Alex and Mark; Professionalism, Knowledge, and Respect. They took the time to make sure the job was done right. Whenever an unforeseen obstacle presented itself, they would immediately come to us and discuss options. They always had our best interest in mind, even if it was not the easiest solution. They respected our house as if it was their own, making sure to clean up and have us review all work done. They were only satisfied if we were happy; something very different from what we were use to from previous projects. And this was the one thing that ultimately set Sentry apart from the other companies we talked to. They stress quality with their employees and allow them to take the extra time to do a job right!

Overall, our systems are working great! We are very comfortable throughout the day. The work done was of very high quality and I expect it to last for as long as we are in the home. Thank you Matt, Alex, Mark, and Sentry. This was a big project for us and we feel great about our decisions.

I just moved to Birmingham from Atlanta and needed HVAC and plumbing work done. Cole (HVAC) and James (plumbing) we’re fantastic to work with. Both were prompt, professional and honest. Can’t ask for more. Sentry is the way to go.

I have been a customer since 2015. During that time Sentry installed my 20 kw Generator, have maintained my Generator, removed my old 75 gallon water heater, installed a new water heater, replaced and repaired a break in my sewer line, and replaced a 100 year old faucet that was very difficult to remove. Wes ( plumbing), and Brett ( Generator) are outstanding professionals, who always leave the work area immaculate upon completion . They are professional, knowledgeable, polite, timely, accessible in an emergency, and perform exemplary work. In short, Sentry provides outstanding service, for a fair price, stands by their work and warranties, always leaving their customer fully satisfied.
