If you are in a private home with a flexible air duct system, don't waste your money. I explained my problem in detail over the phone, including my duct system, and was led to believe the system could be cleaned. The technicians were in my home for less than 5 minutes and told me that they could not clean the types of ducts I had in my home, yet charged me a full $95.00 "diagnostic" fee. According to the technician, it would have been free if it were an "evaluation", but they were sent for a "diagnostic". Know the difference, or avoid this shady company altogether.
There are a couple companies out of the many I use for various reasons that really stand out - this is one of them. I had an issue with my AC and called right at 8am. After a brief description of the issue, Joe said he would have a tech call me back, and asked what number they should call. From past experience, I knew I should ask when to expect the call, so I would know whether to give my cell number or not. He said it would be as soon as the tech left their current project, which would be soon. I got a call back about an hour later, and the tech said they could be there in 20 minutes. They arrived, diagnosed the problem, went to get a new motor, installed it, and it was functioning again by 10:30. Wow. And, the total bill was about $360. I have dealt with these guys for a couple years and their expertise and customer interaction/service will keep me dealing with them for a long time.
I would highly recommend Air Essentials to everyone. My heat went out called Joe and within seconds he had sent my proof of pmi service they perform on my unit. OUTSTANDING customer service.
I was referred to air essentials by a Fb friend. Im glad she referred me, because I was very pleased with them! I had a few people come out and they had all said the same thing was wrong with my unit it waany until Air essentials came out though that I was explained what exactly was wrong, how it will get fixed and what my options were. That sold me on them, when 2 others just quoted me without explanation, so left feeling uncerrain if it was accurate information. Once my problem was fixed the technician took the time to show me what he did , how my unit needs to run and how to maintain it.They not only had same or better prices, but their customer service was outstanding.
