Johnny Rich is a great guy - one of the nicest fellows you'll run across in the HVAC community in Birmingham. But he's not reliable.

He had already been to my house on a couple of calls over the last couple of years, and did a great job. Back in October, I left him a voice mail on his cell phone to check my HVAC unit. No reply.

A few days later I texted him, and got a return text he would get back to me later. I never heard from him.

His voice mail says call his office for immediate help. I then left a message with a woman who answered the phone, who i assume was his secretary. She said she would pass the message on to him and he would call to set up an appointment. I never heard from him. In my book, three strikes and you're out.

I have no idea why he didn't want the business. But even if I had been a new customer, if he didn't want the business, or was too busy and didn't have time, you would think he would have the professional courtesy to call and say he was too busy. Or call back and say something.

I called Norrell, who was recommended by some friends. They responded immediately and fixed the problem at a reasonable rate. I won't be calling Absolute Air again.

Noah was fantastic. It was great to deal with someone who knows what he is doing and can offer solutions.

Long history with this company. Technicians top notch. Refreshing to do business with people who have integrity and take care of their customers.
