I had this company install a ductless heat pump system at my home and they never did get it to work right. Their service people led me on a wild goose chase, telling me to install more weatherstripping and insulation to get the system to work. I think that the basic problem was that the installation people didn't know what they were doing and the Carrier ductless systems are junk. After years of "fixes", I just decided to replace the system with a different brand installed by a different company. The new system works fine. I am a longtime HVAC Engineer, so I know what I am talking about.

Second time using them, and satisfied both times. The Technicians seem to know their work in this field. I would recommend Joe East, and will use again.

UPDATE: After our first service call, I stand by my 5 star rating. We called because our AC wasn't working and within 4 hours, our technician Joe came out and had the AC up and running. He was also 100% upfront and honest about the price and gave us options to wait until tomorrow/during the week to avoid a weekend surcharge. I definitely recommend!

I scheduled a 1st time customer $59 tune up. Guy, the technician from Joe East, was an absolute pleasure to have service our units. He was very friendly, personable and explained everything about what he was doing. He suggested that we replace the compressor in our AC unit but was not pushy and went into great detail to explain the pros and cons of replacement. Furthermore, this was something recommended to be replaced the prior year by a different company, so I knew it was legit. However, the other company wanted to charge us $283 for the part and he offered to replace a higher powered version for only $147. Overall I am very satisfied with the service that I received and I will definitely use Joe East for future needs and will be requesting Guy : )

Our Carrier Infinity system needed a new Thermostatic Expansion Valve. Hunter, our tech stayed with the work until after the intermittent problem was diagnosed. The work he did was very professional and he was totally responsive. The new one hour franchise billing based on a schedule not the old hourly charge plus parts and freon. Be aware that freon and Puron are very expensive due to many reasons not the fault of Joe East. They have given us excellent service since 2004. Thank you to all for the great service.

The Technician explained what units he was going to check. After a quick inspection of the units, he had a few questions if we had any problems he needed to know about.

The young man knew what he needed do from that point on. He discovered a minor problem, made the repair.

The folks showed on time, we gave them access to the attic space. I was working from home and the install went smooth. There was an issue 3 days after they completed the install, and csme right back out immediately....corrected the faulty part and we have been running on our gear for about a year now...for us it was great service...

In addition, I was extremely pleased with my service tech, Guy. He was very professional, listened to my concerns, and explained any questions I had. He also took the initiative to correct/repair an issue I was having with the door on the unit without being asked to do so ... impressive! 🥰

A good value proposition led me to Joe East and his family almost 50 years ago for my first installation and quite a few more since then. The company always responded quickly and offered a fair price. In those "few" instances, during the companies growth years, when we did encounter an occasional hic up, Joe East would always make it right and that was the prime reason for my continued patronage. I can sincerely recommend this firm...
