Joe East Heating and Cooling

Extremely disappointed with Joe East. I have used them for years and they have always been prompt and courteous ... even on after hours, emergency calls. Today, they have ruined and lost all of my confidence. I called them for emergency service on my A/C and I was promised a call back from a technician. TWO HOURS LATER I called back and I was promised a call back within 30 minutes. More than an HOUR later I lost my patience with them and called someone from HomeAdvisor. Interestingly, Joe East doesn't show up on HomeAdvisor's list. Well, I guess I shouldn't be surprised based on the way they treated me today. Won't be calling this company again.

My family has used them for years but their service was so poor the last few times I had to switch. During my semi annual maintenance the tech said I needed a part replaced and quoted me an insane amount even though the part would be covered under warranty. I even called back to make sure the price wasn't for the part. I called another company and they identified the problem immediately and no new part was needed.

They did a great job and there service is wonderful. They are very responsive.

My wife and I wanted to let Joe East know that we were impressed with the work of Scott and Fred. They removed our old 3 ton unit and installed the new one in just a couple of hours. The quick turn around allowed us to get our whole house electronic air cleaner up and running quickly, to keep my allergies and my wife's asthma in control.

Technician was very professional, knew his business very well, had my unit up and cooling In less then an hour.

Had a 3 Ton Carrier unit installed and it works amazing.The technician Scott that installed it did a very nice job on the install, looks very professionally done. I would definitely call Joe East again for any HVAC needs in the future!

In reading these reviews (or at least the ones from a few years ago) I can't believe it. I have dealt with Joe East for 20+ years and never had a complaint other than it is like going to the dealer to get something fixed, it always costs more.
The last time I had to call them the guy stayed here until midnight working on what turned out to be a problem with my breaker box and NOT my AC unit and to get AC back in the middle of the summer and to work for hours in a cramped space, I thought the price was beyond fair.
The reason I bought my original unit from Joe East back 20+ years ago was because I see these AC companies that are "so cheap" fold up all the time. I wanted to make sure whoever I bought it from would still be in business when I needed service 10 years later.
I HAVE used other companies at times to save a few bucks depending on what I thought might be wrong and what I wanted done but 80% of the time I called Joe East because no matter what anybody says (and some of these reviews sound more like written by competitors under false names) my experience with Joe East has been exemplary and yes when the weather is 100 degrees around here, they get backed up and your guy may be a few hours late. I hate it but am smart enough to realize that repair is not an exact science until you actually get to look at a piece of equipment.

Bottom Line: If you want to buy a unit that will be supported through the life of it and repairs that are done right with authorized parts, call Joe East, the best is never the cheapest. You pay for what you get almost every time.

Shelly and team did excellent job installing new HVAC system and new ductwork in a 60+ year old house. All problem’s encountered solved.

The technician are great, very cordial and explain everything they did on the maintenance.

Really just the best. My technician, Joe, is someone I can trust.
