This is the worst place to work my mental health has declined I've been harassed mistreated by employees and supervisors singled out by superiors that abuse there power and the union isn't any better mind you they have no structure compassion or understanding it's sick a bunch of incompetent devils with know integraty and if you have a problem and confide in them instead of trying to solve the problem they threaten you with termination I would never refer anybody to this injust mess I give this no stars if I could it's not on Jordan Lane it on Mooresmille road like I said incompetent smdh
I worked here for approximately 4 months as a shipping clerk recently. When I started, the place was an abysmal dump. However, they were just finishing repaving the parking lot, and shortly after new lighting was installed and they are renovating the offices, so I thought it might shape up. My duties included having custom skids built, interacting with multiple departments attempting to coordinate orders for processing. The place is under new management and the new manager seems to want to make improvements and rectify the 30 years of neglect. However this comes at a cost. The ladder to reach top shelves was a safety hazard so it was thrown out, resulting in me going without one for 6 weeks. The tether control for the crane was broken who knows how long and when the remote was broken, it was not replaced repaired. Several forklifts were broken and not repaired, so mine was taken for others use. And so on and so on. I nearly fell off a flatbed 2 days before I quit attempting to load 21 foot long skids with a broken crane. There were other incidents going on which forced me to demand more money and they were reluctant to comply so I left. There is money for new parking lot, but not to fix the crane. There is money to replace the lighting but not to fix the forklifts. There is money for new offices, yet not to replace my ladder or grant me a raise when I am the one taking risks to see to it the job gets done. That on top of a seemingly prejudice supervisor who can;t appreciate a diligent and conscientious worker were enough for me. It's pretty ironic, Hart & Cooley is unwilling to pay or treat a Hart accordingly for their performance.
I dropped at there 4910 moores mill road location at 20:00 and the people there were absolutely the nicest people I have ever delivered to I believe the gentleman that unloaded me his name was Harold he helped me fold my tarps and while I was putting up my equipment he went and got me a drink and brought it and left it on the step of my truck for me they are hand down the best place I have ever delivered too amazing crew hear and really friendly staff
