Alec was my service man and he was very personable and helpful. He did an excellent job and explained what he was doing. I was very impressed with him. I will definitely call them again if needed.

Deans Plumbing Co. Inc installed a new AC/Heating unit in in my home Dec. 2015. I have had problems since they installed the unit. They want to blame my home for the problem with heating or cooling efficiently. Today it has quit heating again. They have refused to replace this defective unit.

I have had HC Blake work on this unit in the past when I had problems with it.

HC Blake is coming out again this afternoon to work on this unit. They should not be allowed to have a license to install AC/Heating Units.

July 26. I have had this system worked on again. It is set on 72 degrees and it will only cool my house down to 77 degrees.

As of late for any type of home repair we have to wait weeks. Dean and son plumbing were out in a few days fix the problem. The price was right. Excellent work Justin did a great job.

Called late in the afternoon and spoke with one of their plumbers who said he could come right away, but it would be an after-hour service call and I could save some money if I just wanted him to come first thing in the morning. I think "wow, this is great, honest service". They were to contact me between 7:30-8:00 the next morning, so i decided to stay home and miss the first couple hours of work, worst case scenario, being that I had already called and told them the problem, surely they could show up with the necessary tools and equipment to fix it. I heard nothing by 9:30 so I decided to call. They very rudely explained to me that they made NO guarantee to what time they could be out, but still assured me that they would be there before lunch. So I wait. 2:00 rolls around and I give up and call another plumber. Dean Plumbing called me about five minutes before the other, so I gave them the chance to come out. He arrived at 5:08, looked at the problem for about 9 seconds, said "yeah I need a replacement flange and can't get that after 5PM, will have to come back another day." Which is mostly outrageous because I called them originally and said "hey I need someone to come out and put in a new flange" and they showed up with nothing.
They assured me someone would contact me the next day and would show up the following day to replace the part. I put zero stock into this, rightly so, because they still have not a) called me b) shown up to fix anything c) given a slight care to anything I've said or wanted fixed.

TLDR - Wasted an entire day of leave waiting for them to show up, via empty promises aka "words not spoken" according to them. Showed up without supplies I had already told them they would need. Fixed nothing and do not care about customers slightly. Have not even contacted me to set up another day/time to fix what they were supposed to fix 3 days ago. A complete joke of a way to run a business.

We had Dean Plumbing come out to change our water heater. Upon a home inspection to sell our home we found out that they had not installed an expansion tank to the supply line at the water heater as required at installation, that the relief valve drain line had not been extended to the exterior of the house and that they had placed the water heater directly onto the floor of the crawl space instead of up on the blocks that had been under the previous water heater. In addition, I noticed that instead of emptying the water from the old water heater outside the crawl space, they just let the 50 gallons drain onto the ground in the crawl space. Lastly, 3 months after installation, the water heater stopped heating. Dean Plumbing came out and indicated that it was a wire in bad condition running from the water heater to the breaker box and that it was a fire hazard. This fire hazard/bad wire had to have been seen at installation and yet the water heater was still installed and we were never notified of the bad wire.

I called Dean plumbing for 2 different issues on some properties that I manage. One building had a leak, the other an A/C issue. Both tech's showed up within an hour, explained to me what was wrong- and fixed it!! These guys are great. Thank you for being friendly and responsive. I will definitely use Dean Plumbing for all my future AC & Plumbing issues!!

I totally recommend Dean Plumbing for all of your plumbing needs. Excellent, knowledgeable technicians that do quality work at a fair price. Scott F was my tech and will definitely ask for him in the future.

A Dean Plumbing service technician, Wes Shephard, came out to look at a possibly clogged condensate line on my air conditionor unit. Wes cut the line, past the trap, and claimed since some water was passing through the line that it was not clogged, and that I should have one of their air condition techs come back out to look at the air condition unit. He was present for about 10min and he charged me $94.25, even though he did not fix anything. Being that the unit was under warranty, I called my warranty provider, Alabama Climate Control, and they came out. Not seeing anything wrong with the unit, they rechecked the actual trap in the condensate line and discovered it actually WAS CLOGGED and they repaired the line, charging me $95 for the service call. So, in the end, despite the fact that I told the Dean Plumbing rep, not once, but twice, that I believed the line was clogged, he did not, thoroughly check the line, and he charged me $94.25...HAD he checked the entire line, I could have avoided the warranty call and the additional $95 spent to Alabama Climate Control. I believe Dean Plumbings intent was to nickel and dime me and charge me an additional charge for having one of their air condition reps come out, but, when this failed, they refused to issue a refund for improper and inferior service. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They obviously do not value their customer relationship...to be such a small service issue, you would think they would just issue a refund, but they just kept offering unneeded future service when they should have just admitted being wrong and refunded my money. During submission to the BBB, this company also basically lied through their teeth about the facts of the service call, claiming I had them come to 2 different houses, claiming they responded to an after hours service call when, in fact, the guy was just 3 hours late for the appt I made in advance, claiming they came out 3 different times (only 2), and claiming they completely took the line apart and flushed it, which they did not. This company is obviously ran by idiots...How in the world could they have an A+ rating is beyond me!
